She skidded to a stop and sat down as a tom walked through the bushes "Your late."he meowed nuzzeling her
"I know."she meowed then looked at her paws
She sighed "I dont know what i was thining.Im not even hours into the day and i feel like the cats beside me are going to bite off my head..."she sighed burying her head in his fur
"Being a warrior is hard,Its not as easy as i made it sound Pearl..."
"Hailpaw."she corrected
"Right...Hailpaw..."he sighed "Hailpaw...You will be a great warrior one day but you have to pull through.I may be retired but you are my daughter.You are meant for the warrior life."he rasped.
Hailpaw sighed and nodded standing up tail wrapped around herself "Yes Blaze.."she meowed softly then spoke louder standing up "Ill make you proud..."she murmered and licked his shoulder

Deathpaw looking through the bushes, seeing Hailpaw with another cat. He narrowed his eyes and leaped into a near by tree, hiding in the dark leaves.

She looked at him "Bye dad."she murmered and turned bounding away into the trees.
The other cat smiled and licked his paw revealing a faded star on his chest

The tom cat lept back and then scrambeled forward to his side "Eves dropping are we?"he asked then saw the necklace.Frowning he growled "Where did you get my daughters necklace?"he asked useing his weight to hold him down
