Ashfeather followed him, tasting the air. The sun was going down, making the air still. She smelled mouse. Quickly she crouched, carefully following the scent trail. Soon she spotted the brown body chewing on a stem. Quietly she stalked up behind it, and pounced. She killed it with a sharp bite to the neck.
