Nightmist lifted his head "sugarstar" he said "Wake up, i dont like way Blouderkit and Furzekit are" then he looked around "i dont think they are living"

Sugarstar blinked her eyes awake after hearing Nightmist.

Slushkit squeaked with fear after hearing her mother yowl with sadness. She nudged Sparkkit. "Doesn't this scare you?" she asked, shaking from her mothers yowling.

Sparkkti looked to Slushkit "whats to be scared about?" she asked "and how do you know if they arnt moving?" she asked with a blink "you can only see blackness like me"

Nightmist looked at the two kits then at Sugarstar "are you ok?" he asked

"They're dead, My first kits and they're dead." Sugarstar wailed.

"Blackness? I don't see any blackness, Furzekit and Boulderkit are dead and mommy is scaring me." Slushkit meowed.

Nightmist looked down "i know" he said with sadness in his voice

"then why do i only see blackness!?" she said then looked to Sugarstar "are they really gone?"

"Yes, Yes they are." Sugarstar cried.

Slushkit blinked. "S-She's blind isn't she?" she asked worriedly. "She's blind?!" Sugarstar started to sob. Slushkit shivered, she didn't want to see her mother in pain anymore. She crept away from her and looked outside. She seen the snow it was so white it practicly blinded her. "Eeek!" she gasped racing back inside. She tryed again now used to the whiteness. She stuck her paw in and quickly shook it off. She smiled and hopped in it. She started playing with and in the snow.

Nightmist licked Sugarstar "calm down, this isnt good for the kits to see" he said "things like this had happened to all queens" he said then sat down "i know its hard..even i am feeling horible about it"

Slushkit pranced in the snow smiling happily. She seen the nursery and then her eyes grew wide. She pranced in and looked, there was so many kits! She seen Jaykit, Sunkit, Scarkit, Bluekit, Darkkit, Paintkit, Applekit and Seedkit. "H-Hello?" she asked.

Seedkit jumped and whiped around. He hissed at Slushkit which made her squeaked with fear and dart off. He blinked. It was another kit! He raced after her. "Who are you he asked accidently getting snow on her. "Slushkit!" she growled hitting snow into his face. Seedkit frowned and hit some back to her. Seedkit coughed when she hit some back. He hit some back then her then him and it just kept going on until it turned into a game.

Sparkkit walked out of the den and walked to the nusery and looked around "slushkit? are you in here?" she asked

Slushkit threw another snowball at Seedkit and before getting hit. "Over here!" she called to her sister.
