Akane smiled at Dante, looking away to try and not show him that she was blushing. It was only slightly, but she was afraid of what he might think... He was higher up in the pack...
She shook her head, getting the courage to look back at him. "Thank you."

"For what?' asked Dante, coking his head in surprise. He blinked, his tail flicking as he carried his large bagel in his wide and powerful jaws. His sleek pelt shimmered in the daylight, his claws scraping the city streets as he padded on.

Akane opened her mouth to answer the question, but nothing would come out... So she closed her mouth, not wanting to look even more stupid than usual... She didn't want this moment to end, she had had (deliberate repetition) a crush on him for a while now, it grew every day but all she could do was dream. He deserved so much more than her...

Sazi's reply made Farceur chuckle dryly."Obviously you haven't seen a mirror. But, believe what you want [i]mon cher[/i, I'm not one to cripple dreams." He leaned his broad shoulder on the rough bark of a tree and looked around casually."You appear to be all alone," his eyes sparkled with cunning. "It's not safe for little girls to wander the woods alone, there could be wolves." His teeth flashed as he grinned, pushing off from the tree and taking a few deliberate steps forward.

Dante scented the air, halting for a moment. "The storms getting closer." he growled. "We'd better pick up the pace." he said, bursting into a trot.

Akane nodded, trotting after him. She just couldn't stop smiling while she was with him, but soon they'd be back with the pack... Why did the storm have to separate them so soon? She shuddered as the cold got to her again, but she kept on going... Following Dante all the way.

Dante smiled sighting the pack grounds a few meters away. "We're all most there." he said, his fur writhing and whipping in the wind. His tail lashed as he fought against the heavy jet stream, his ears flattening with intensity. "Dear Lord this storm is getting bad..." he snorted.

Akane huddled closer to Dante as they got closer to camp, not showing how embarrassed she was... She ducked her head down, trying to get her body streamlined. It would be easier for them to move if they were both streamlined... She increased her pace, her red 'streaks' flashing into view briefly as the wind picked up, parting her fur.
