They touched noses and the clan yowled the new names. "But,before you can truly be FoxClan cats, you must Climb to Hawk's peer."He flicked his tail to a Flat rock sticking out at the top.

"what's hawks peer?" Shadepaw whispered.

"The highest point of the cave." Snow whispered before Sharpwhisker could talk.

Shadepaw nodded, looking at the top, and then back to the apprentices.

They all began to climb.Meltpaw was in first,Sunpaw second,Leopardpaw third,and Cloudpaw stuck to a root.He tried to go higher,but he fell.His back paw was tangled in the root,but the rest of him was dangling over a sheer rock

Shadepaw tensed, worried he would fall.

"Help!" He wailed.The root loosened a little. suddenly,Snow jumped up on the rock,jumped up and grabbed him and leapt down. "Snow, that was the highest jump i have ever seen!" Sharpwhisker gasped.A triumphant yowl came above them. Meltpaw was first.

Shadepaw had watched in awe as Snow jumped up to the rock and caught Cloudpaw. hmmph. She thought. I could jump that high if I wanted to. But she knew she couldn't. She wondered if Flamestar would make Snow a warrior for her bravery in rescuing Cloudkit.

Flamestar looked down at Snow. "Cloudpaw,for accidental reason,you may still be an apprentice.And Snow,I would like to give you a Clan name.From now on you will be known as Snowleap.StarClan honors you for your bravery and skills."
