Life of the Romance(Stray Dog Romance) ~Forever Accepting~

Raven looked up at the sky. Gray clouds were gathering and tiny little droplets were falling from the sky. She sniffed around, smelling the scent of pups. She looked back at Nad and nodded her head. "Yes. Let's hurry!" She began to follow the scent, hoping it was Riley's. She had never met the pup so she didn't know her scent.

[Tacos!!]

"Help!" Jenna screaming loudly.

Griffin kept on pulling her foot gently, trying to get it out of the hole. "I'm trying!" he barked. He kept on pulling until he finally got her paw out. He licked it gently. "Are you okay?"

[Tacos!!]

Jenna saw that some of the skin was there, was gone. "What happened?" Jenna asked, with worried eyes.

Nad continued to follow his daughter's scent. He felt raindrops on his pelt. He made himself calm down. His breathing was steady, but his heart was thumping so loud he could barely hear anything else. The rain fell harder and harder untill there was an utter downpour. Riley's scent slowly afded from his nose. He ran back and forth trying to find it again. Once he realized it was hopeless he went in to a sheltered alleyway and invited Raven to join him. "We;ll just have to resume searching once it stops raining." he whispered sadly.

Raven let out a deep sigh as she lost the scent. She didn't go over to Nad and for a few she paced back and forth desperately, trying to get the scent again. Puddles splashed under her paws and she stood there, her head hung low. She padded over to Nad. "Yeah." She shivered a bit. Why did it have to get cold when it rained?

Griffin stopped licking her paw. "Your foot got stuck in the hole." A hint of worry shone in his eyes. "You didn't notice?"

"Be honest. Do you think were going to find her?" he asked. It was night, he didn't have her scent, the odds weren't looking good. He laid his head on his front paws. His heart told him they would, but his mind said that they wouldn't.

Raven looked down at her paws when Nad asked her that question. She wanted to say yes, but she couldn't be sure. "I want to say yes, but her scent will be gone after the rain and who knows when the rain will stop? For all we know it could end tomorrow morning or afternoon or so. I don't know how to reply." She was hoping that she wouldn't get his hopes down or get him sadder, but he asked for her honesty and she gave it. She laid down and crossed her paws neatly to rest her head down on them.

Soon there was a huge puddle of blood, Jenna started to go up the stairs. She tripped a couple of times, but she made it up the stairs.

"hey riley come on we gotta find your dad" sugar said nugding riley with her paw
