Wolfpaw spoke quickly. "No, no. You don't have to leave. I was just...thinking." His usually gruff, cold speech patterns had softened considerably. Did he somehow become attracted to Rainpaw? He sighed softly.

Rainpaw's eyes brightened, and she settled back into a sitting position. She cocked her head curiously to one side and stared into Wolfpaw's handsome golden eyes, at a loss for they're ability to hypnotize. "Thinking about what?" she asked him, her tone kind. She smiled kindly, scooting a tiny bit closer to Wolfpaw. Not a lot, just enough so that her silver pelt was slightly brushing the tom's black one.

Wolfpaw blinked his eyes, then mewed, "Just..." He closed his eyes and mewed more softly, "My family." He took a breath and looked back up at her, his eyes opening. He smiled again, but this time didn't feel angry at himself, or even reminiscent.

Rainpaw nodded slowly. She hadn't realize how little she actually knew about Wolfpaw. "Did something happen to them?" She asked the tom curiously. What are you doing?!?! the voice in her head screeched at her. You can't just go around asking cats you're trying to impress about their kin! The she-cat added hastily, "That is.. If you don't mind talking about it.."

Hawkpaw
Hawkpaw looked around, searching for a warrior to go hunting, or even training with.
I wish I could go hunting by myself and not need a warrior to watch me.
He licked his paw and ran it over his large, bat-like ear.

Softpaw
After the ceremony had ended and everyone began to go back to regular duties, Softpaw looked around for Flamepaw.
Where is he?
A moment later, she spotted him. She ran up to him, a slight skip in her step.
"Hey Flamepaw!" She mewed happily, looking at Flamepaw

Flamepaw's bright orange eyes lit up like a forest fire as Softpaw came towards him. "Hello, Softpaw!" he mewed happily, his tail waving. "Care to sit?" The ginger tabby Tom gently tapped the tip of his tail onto the ground beside him a few times. He flashed her a kind smile, grateful that his bright orange fur covered up the pinkish tint on his face caused from his blushing face.

Wolfpaw nodded. It would feel very relieving to unload the horrid fate of his kin to, especially if it was Rainpaw, who he felt he could trust. "Well...when I was around three moons old, my father and mother had left me and my two sisters, so they could find some prey. A pair of foxes arrived at our little den, and my parents arrived just in time. But, they were brutally slaughtered by the foxes, as were my sisters. After that, I ran off, thankfully I was swift on my feet. I've never forgotten that Starclan gave me the speed to escape that day."

Softpaw
"Sure!"
She sat down beside Flamepaw, feeling hot beneath her fur from blushing.
"So, how have you been lately?" She asked with a smile, flashing a glance at him.

Rainpaw gasped, shocked by Wolfpaw's tragic past. "Oh, my StarClan! Wolfpaw, that's terrible!" She brushed her tail comfortingly down the other apprentice's spine. "I'm so glad that StarClan granted you the strength and instinct to be able to find your way to MapleClan." She smiled weakly, pity clouding her blue eyes. "I bet you miss your family. I know I miss mine.." She smiled weakly at the black Tom, her happiness fading.

Flamepaw smiled kindly at Softpaw and shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. "I've been good, I suppose. I've been enjoying my training! How have you been lately?" The tom's flame-colored eyes shone in the sunlight, and they were bright with interest in the she-cat he secretly adored.

Wolfpaw flushed again under his pelt as he nodded. "What happened for yours?" The black apprentice cocked his head, listening one of his best abilities, reigning high over social skill.
