Sparkclaw finished him mouse and sat down with his tail curled over his paws deep in thought.

Stemkit
Stemkit padded over to Sunkit and Oakcrest nervously. "Hey Sunkit you want to play moss ball. We could ask Frostgale if Ravenkit could play too," Stemkit asked hopefully

Oakcrest smiled warmly at the two. Reminding her of Frostgale and her. She nudged Sunkit toward her. " Have fun. I need to think. " she mewed.

"Yeah, sure!" Sunkit mewed brightly to her sister. She whispered in her ear,"I'm sorry I made a big deal of it.."

Moonfur
Moonfur stood up and padded to the fresh kill pile. He picked up a plump shrew and sat down. He glanced at Sparkclaw, wondering what was up with him, then continued eating.

Oakcrest chuckled at them. She padded to the fresh kill pile and got a mouse. She began to take a bite. She was deep in thought.

Stemkit
Stemkit just smiled and picked up a ball of moss softly in her jaws. "Catch!" she mewed flinging it towards Sunkit with a bat of her paws.

Sparkclaw
Sparkclaw noticed Moonfur at the fresh kill pile. "Hi Moonfur." he mewed "I heard you're deputy now. Congratulations!"

Sunkit
Sunkit leaped and caught the moss ball in her jaws. She concentrated and flung the moss ball back! "Now you catch!" She mewed.

Moonfur
"Yeah, thanks Sparkclaw. I just wish Badgerclaw was here with us..." Moonfur trailed off and took another bite of his shrew.

Oakcrest listened to them talk and flicked her tail. She finished her mouse and laid there.

"He was a great cat." Sparkclaw sighed "and a great friend."

Stemkit
The moss ball flew above Stemkit's head and she had to leap up to reach. She landed on her back and sat in the dust giggling at herself. Stemkit flung the moss ball back.

Sunkit
Sunkit watched the moss ball fly passed her as she jumped. She realized she was to late when the kit touched the ground. Giggling, Sunkit galloped towards it. She picked it up, but didn't move to where she had thrown it before. The she cat threw it as far as she could to Stemkit, hoping it would make it.

Moonfur
"A wonderful friend" Moonfur agreed with Sparkclaw.
