herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Stormkit smiled at Sunkits challenge and crept forward slowly searching for a sent. Smelling the sent of shrew he crept forward slowly and pounched pinning the shrew and killing it swiftly. Stormkit smilied proudly holding his catch.

Stemkit sighed. If Flamestar or even worse Mistfeather,they would be spending the next 100 moons grounded in the nursery. "Guys mabye we should start heading back its getting late." she mewed glancing at the setting sun

Mistfeather strode back to the nursery then to her suprise noticed that the kit where gone. She shoved Lostkit. "Have you seen the kits." Mistfeatheer asked

Mistfeather hissed angrly. "Fine!I'll find them on my own" she snapped "I know your still mad at me but I want you to know something. I don't care. I raised as best I could awas right and gave everything for you. However afer so many regections youv'e made it clear that you will never except me again. But I don't care. And you know what! I'm tired of you mooping around like a elderly kittypet contemplating on how misrable your life is. I'd like to think that I taught you better then that. Now good bye I have better things to worry about then you. She turned then added a little more gently. "Your life is what you make Lostkit and i'd hate to see you waste it." Mistfeather mewed walking away then was surprised by the sighs of her kits and Moonfur entering the camp. "Moonfur why where the kits out of camp?"

Can't you see she has her own life with these problems on top of it? Lostkit is a wonderful warrior! Why do you assume she has disowned you without asking her?" The she cat had always thought of Mistfeather as a sweet cat, but accusing her when only one word came out if Lostkit's mouth? She sat where she was, ready for what Mistfeather would say.

Mistfeather whipped around with a low growl then sighed shaking her head. "She was only kit once and it tore my heart in two the day that the fight happend. I tired of begging to be forgiven. I would give anything to go back the day it happend and change things. But I can't. I'm sorry if this upsets you but I'm not saying sorry. she mewed wishing Shadowfall would just leave her alone.
