Deep in the forest a crow caws and Sparrow's eyes snap open. She picks her head up and looks around, next to her Larkspur was sleeping soundly. As quietly as she could she stands and slips out the den. She slinks along the edge of camp and out the main entrance. I'm hungry... She thinks, and she takes a deep breath, breathing in all the scents and catching something that she hadn't been looking for. "Shore?" She calls into the darkness. She frowns and runs along the trail, following her stepbrother's scent to the meadow where he was sleeping with Azuka...

"Oh. My. Gosh!" Shore's eyes snap open just in time to see little Sparrow tromping through the flowers towards him and Azuka. He jumps up, trying to keep the pup quiet as to not alarm the sleeping Azuka laying in the flowers next to Shore. "Sparrow, what are you doing here?!?!" He hisses in a soft but highly alarmed tone. "You're not allowed out of camp!" "I was hungry." Comes the reply in a bitter tone. Shore watches the pup carefully as she steps around him to catch a glimpse of the other sleeping wolf. "Azuka? You're sleeping with Azuka?!" Sparrow says very loudly in an alarmed tone. Shore steps between Sparrow and the young wolf and growls softly. "Go back to camp Sparrow." He says in his best 'don't mess with me' tone. Sparrow glares at him. "Just Wait 'till I tell my daddy, and Jitter too!" She says, turning and racing towards the edge of the clearing.
Azuka gave a tired yawn, hearing the distance pitterpatter of paws. He extended his foreleg and backlegs in a stretch, mouth wide open. Nuzzling his eye against the ground to get the hair on the top of his head messy and not hot from sleeping, he saw Shore who was standing up wide awake. "What happened..?" Azuka asked clulessly trying to sound concern, since he was actually. He felt other feelings for this other wolf other than he did for his brother. That was more of a brotherly love even though he loved to hang around him and sleep with him. Around Shore, he felt protected by the stronger wolf and another feel that he could not recongize.
