Olly sat in the auditorium as she listened to the teachers. she grasped her violin case with excitement. hopefully this school could help her become better at her jewel power, she thought.

Titan-

Titan was out in the gardens behind the school. he was drawn to places like this and instead of going to the ceremony he was outside with the flowers. Titan saw a wilting purple flower in the mix of healthy growing white flowers, with the close of his eyes Titan focused on the flower's image and let happy thoughts consume him. when he reopened his eyes the little purple flower was healthily and no longer wilting. It brought a small smile to his face.

Nikki stood from her seat on the side of the auditorium ,where all of the instructors sat, and swept her tail grandly as she made her way down the aisle and onto the stage. Her ear twitched a few times as she walked, but she didn't mind the familiar nervous tic. It's only because its your first time intructing anything, she told herself. You've never has stage frught before anyway. You'll be fine.
"Welcome ine, and welcome all!" She nearly cringed as her voice boomed strongly out over the crowd in the auditorium. She paused for a moment before going on. "I am Nikki, the brown jewel instructor, and I will be telling you about how the classes eork here and the curriculum in each one." She paused again as faint applause came from the crowd. She nodded appreciatively and continued. "Those of you in the red jewel class, or fire, will be taught how to first wrangle and then use their fire-breathing powers. You will also be taught how to throw fireballs, and you will be graded on speed, power and accuracy.
Orange jewels, learning about night and day. We have a specifically designed simulator for allowing you to transmit time and light back and forth, as we cannot afford to accually be having you change the time of day on our campus." She chuckled, and noticed a few of the students did too.
"Mocing on. Yellow jewels will be taught how to direct sunbeams and generate light. They can also take the opportunity to enter a similar simulator to the orange jewel one in whcih they are allowed to play with the light sources as they please.
Green jewels will be taught how to correctly identify plants, their uses, and their appearances or look-alikes. T hey will memorize the herbs and edible grasses, and also be taught a bit of the healing arts as well.
Blue jewels have a special pool built on campus to withstand the force of water being thrown or splashed around. They will visit this pool daily and learn how to create, as well as destroy, with water.
Purple jewels will have an exciting class in which they have many psychic and simulator tests to fully develop their intelligence and power. They will also be permitted, during allowed times, to read the minds of their peers. They will also learn how to use telepathy to move objects around.
Pink jewels will simply be shown how to maximize their beauty. There will be tests, and many exciting interactive activities, like searching the woods beyond the campus fir the most beautiful items. They will also have class periods to beautify their peers.
White jewels have a specifically designed building that is packed with snow and built to withstand the freezing temperatures. White jewels willl learn about safety in snow, and also about dangers such as freak blizzards and avalanches. They will be able to create snowballs and..." Nikki paused, realizing she had forgotten what she had been about to say. She swallowed hard, then nodded, suddenly remembering.
"They will create snowballs and also other snow features, and learn how to 'dominate the land'.
Black jewels will learn about many different properties of several itmes. They will perform several labs to find mass, density, surface area, elements and more. They will then be instructed on how to destroy these obhects, and use them to their advantages. We will host special performances occassionally for them to show just what they can destroy. We also have a 'muscular room' dedicated to helping them achieve full strength.
And finally, the brown jewels, taught by me. We will be studying all the different types of possible wounds- bites, claw marks or scratches, venom and the like- and will be taugjt combatants or antivenoms. We will also be using our jewels to heal any wounded, on campus or off. Those will be our interactive activities in the class. You are to be graded on properly assessing the wound, and how you heal it. We will also be learning a bit of edible grasses as well as most of the herbs, to maximize our healing potential."
Nikki beamed iut at the crowd, then inquired proudly, "Any questions?"

Narquantra tapped her foot impatiently as Nikki mentioned the purple jewel. She smiled brightly and thought of what she could do if she learned how to use her power correctly.

Charlie looked at Milking .She silently lifted her hand and looked around at the other jewelies not raising their hands.She thought her questions over then waited to see what would happen next.She gulped a few times still waiting

Paradise blinked. That hadn't been what she was expecting for the green jewel class. It seemed like the green and brown classes had some of the same lessons in common. Would they be learning about plant manipulation, what she was most interested in? The colorful JMD raised her paw and, kinda without invitations, blurted out "Will we be learning how to control plants?"
And then she realized she probably should've waited to ask, and with a flush of embarrassment she accidentally made several flowers in her ever-present lei wilt.

Nikki looked over at Paradise- not sharply, but kindly. What an enthusiastic student! At least, I think it was enthusiasm, and not her actually trying to be interruptive. She smiled, and inclined her head towards Paradise. She leaned into the mike again, and spoke, "I believe that is a possibility there, yes." She couldn't help grinning again to herself. "I forgot to mention that entire part! How silly can I get? Well, you will be allowed to- each and every one of you in the green jewel class- you will be allowed to have your very own plot in which you may grow your own small garden! You can plant whatever plants you like there- we have a rather lage variety to select from. Then you can choose to grow them however you wish!" Nikki beamed. "That's about the extent of, say, 'controlling' plants- you can control yours in your own litte garden. Did that answer your question?"
Then Nikki turned to the other jewel ,the young girl who had a shy hand raised. "Yes? Did you have a question?"

Paradise's wide grin returned, and the wilted flowers on her lei sprang back to life, petals more colorful than before. She was gonna get to grow a garden!
She forced herself to calm down as she noticed a bit of grass pushing up around the legs of her chair. With a sheepish grin she returned the grass to the soil below. Wow, her jewel power almost never ran away with her emotions. She was overly excited, even by Paradise standards. She had to tone it down a notch.
