The Thing smiled, "Oh contraire," she replied, "it was before that I was not myself. What idiot ignores their calling?!" she prodded the ground with her hoof angrily and snorted, "I finally understand! I understand what caused The Drums!" The Thing went to one side of Despair, her expression saddened "It was me," she said quietly, then she zoomed to the other side, her expression changed to insane excitement, "and also bl**dy me!" she then stomped on the ground, causing the dream to shatter, yelling, "Waky waky body of my host! Let's hope the world's ready for Fatal War!" as she pounded the ground, she cackled.

"YOU WON'T DO THIS TO HER!!!" Despair screamed as she leapt and began to punch Dark War as hard as she could. But after a few punches it was over.

Darkness.

War's appearance had changed in the waking world, as well, and Dark War awoke to see Zerum, the real Zerum, barricading the door so that nothing, even himself, could get out. Dark War chuckled. Her horn glowed a deep red as she charged her magic and, blast! the barricade and door were blasted away.

"Both of you- In the Tardis." the Doctor said. "Jack, where was the last place you saw the mares?"
"They weren't all together, Doctor. They all just, disappeared from their homes, the fields."
"Okay. Where was the last time you saw Lilly then? She would've left some sort of sign."
Jack nodded. She would have been in the forest. There was some sort of...changeling that was stuck as a rabbit that she became attached to."
"Of course she'd be near a changeling." the Doctor said in an annoyed matter.
They entered the Tardis and Jack immediately trotted over to the console. "I'm typing in the coordinates, Doctor."
"Good. Now, Connor, are you hungry?"
Connor's head shot upwards and downwards at the speed of about 1000 miles an hour.
"Right through that hallways is the kitchen- Help yourself to absolutely anything you'd like."
The Tardis shook violently, and stopped. The Doctor pushed outside. Jack followed. "Private, stay here."
"Yessir!" came the reply from the kitchen.
The forest was silent.
The Doctor looked around. Not even the leaves on the trees stirred.
"Doctor- Keep your eyes out. The changelings are everywhere." Jack cautioned.
"I kn-"
The ground was scratched. Deep lines formed words in the soft soil.
I'm older than you think.

Because it may be hard to remember where they left off))

The Doctor leaned down and sniffed the deep furrows. "That's her. Not much of a hint though, I'd expect more."
Jack nodded. "I would have expected more too. I'd have said she didn't have time to run, but, this must have taken time to scrape out."
The Doctor stood. "We'll just find where the changelings are, then."
"Good idea." Jack agreed. "Come on Connor, back in the Tardis."
He turned when there was no reply.
Connor had gone.
