Iwona smiled back, he swam to the shore and lifted himself out of the water, sitting down alittle away from Lani as he shook the water droplets from his fur, he flopped down, letting the warmth of the sunlight dry the rest of his fur.

" A gaurd? Wow! " Allari exclaimed, following Halo, looking up at Anna who was on his back, she wondered if Anna was the daughter of him. She flicked her ears and looked foward, trying to find where the camp was, she finally didnt have to hunt for herself.

Lani smiled and rolled closer to him. She licked his muzzle and then burried her head in the fur on his chest. He was warm and smelled of the forest. She relaxed and closed her eyes, completely content.

Lexa walked outside her den and picked up the bone of a gazalle she had left outside. She started chewing on it just as Halo, Anna and a new lioness cub walked in. "Hey Halo", she said and bowed her head respectfully. "Hey Anna. Whose the newbie?" she asked teasingly.

Iwona licked the top of Lani's head gently, enjoying the comfort of her beside him. He rest his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes, his tail wagging slightly.

Lani's tail started to wag in time with Iwona's. She laughed and smiled, "You have to be the nicest, coolest, most handsome wolf I've ever met". She was suddeny shy and turned her head away. "I like you a lot Iwona" she whispered.

" Im Allari. " Allari answered, looking up at the healer with an amazed expression, she smiled and swished her tail. " Im going to be a gaurd! " She said, puffing out her chest fur to look brave.

Lexa smiled and laughed, "I think you'd make a great guard. It's nice to meet you Allari. If you ever need anything, my den is on the far right". She smiled at Allari and walked off into the forest to find some prey.

Lani looked back at Iwona and smiled slightly and then rested her head on his chest.
