Lionpaw crouched down, the black stripe along this back rippling as he watched Bravepaw approach, Then out of behind a rock he pounced, his large paws hitting the other apprentices in the side while he rolled off and turned, crouching down in a friendly playful position.

Islandpaw nodded her head wearily. Many things were running through her head and it was slightly overwhelming.

"Thanks," Bravepaw said picking himself of the ground. He had dirt smears on his fur now but ignored it. He pointedly kicked the stick out of his way before picking up his bundle again.

Bravepaw let out a small meow of suprise as he fell on his side. "Oof!" Standig up he noticed Lionpaw and quickly crouched down. "Nice move Lionpaw. You may be getting taller but I bet I could still beat you." The long striped tail waved from side to side As he watched his friend. Deciding to make the first move, he ran forward and swiped a white paw at the toms shoulder. He made sure to keep his claws sheathed so he wouldn't hurt him.

"Especially when he has an ally!" Darkpaw dropped his bundle and launched himself at Lionpaw after Bravepaw.

Shadowwhisper - Deputy

Shadowwhisper watched from the camps far outer walls, gazing at the apprentices as they playfully fought each other. He twitched his tail once, glancing around for any sign of Jaystar but the leader must still have been out with his own apprentice. Shadowwhispers eyes landed on Lionpaw as he played with his littermates and sighed softly. He was out of earshot of any other cat, most likly out of sight as well, hidden by folige and shadows. "I always thought you would end up as deputy.." he said out loud. Lionblaze once told him that he would walk with him through out his time as deputy and leader, so if that was true.. then the other tom could hear him now. "Look at him, look's just like you.. and that stripe on his back is as dark as his mothers..' he mewed, wrapping his tail around himself and laying it gently on his paws.

"It wasn't meant to be..." a deep voice rumbled from behind Shadowwhisper as the dust picked up and slowly formed the shape of a large Tom.

Lionpaw watched his two friends, eyes glancing from one to the other. He hadn't done any battle training yet, but knew he was bigger then the others, so in a swift moment he sprang forward, tilting his body to the side as he tried to knock the two over.

((*Dun dun dun* Oh noez! Poor Rainpaw! I think Swiftpaw should find her since he was going to meet her.))
Bravepaw reached the elders den and set his bundle down. His chin ached from the fall but he ignored it. Swiftly he began to take the old moss out so he could replace it.

OOC: Thats what I was hoping :) And I'm not gonna have her seriously hurt, just a little banged up but nothing major! I don't know, Rainpaw has a huge crush on Bravepaw because he's so sweet, but she likes Swiftpaw because he's like a "bad boy" Hahah.

Rainpaw's ears shot straight up at every noise made, her slender body poised and her senses alert. Those "beach" eyes of hers were stretched wide as she scanned her surroundings. Nothing. Silence. Stillness. Wait, werent the birds chirping just a second ago? Couldn't she her the chatter the squirrels made as they spoke in their tongue at one another? Why was it so suddenly silent? And then, it hit her. Literally. The silver she cat was thrown to the forest floor as heavy white paws placed theirselves on her her shoulders. It's long claws dug into her skin and left marks along her pretty, silver coat. Her mouth stretched in a cry, but no sound escaped. As the fox's teeth penetrated into Rainpaw's neck, she knew she had to do something. Surely this wasn't how it ended, right? Adrenaline pulsed through her, creating a burst of hidden strength she didn't know she had. Somehow, she managed to roll onto her back, and since the fox was gripped to her neck, it's body plopped over on it's side. The fox loosened it's hold, and Rainpaw took advantage of this and freed herself. But, the fox was quicker than anticipated. It was back on her, biting at her shoulders and limbs. Rainpaw screeched loudly as it bit down on her neck, and flung the pretty apprentice into a tree. Rainpaw's body hit the earth with a thud, and she laid motionlessly at the roots.
