((Sorry about the wait. I was in Alamo and of course its a small town and barely anyone has a computer. I'm finally back and we delivered the kittens to my aunt and uncle. I miss those cute furballs. Ok enough of me rambling on. *GLOMPS iPawki* Welcome back!!!))
Bravekit knew that his cheeks were definently red by now. Rainkit licking his cheek hadn't helped and Lionkit just added to the embarrassment he felt. He glanced at his friend willing him to be quiet,"I'll be sure to tease you when you pad after a she-cat Lionkit." Bravekit couldn't help but smile at Lionkit since they were good friends but he really wished he wouldn't tease him infront of Rainkit. It was bad enough he had stuttered but now he was blushing like crazy. Attempting to get rid of the blush he tried to think of unpleasant things. [i]Ticks on the elders.....uhhh...crowfood. Slimy fish. Twolegs and foxes. Having to eat a frog......ew.[i] The last one worked as he scrunched his nose up at the thought.

Autumnkit happily padded forward, ready to become and apprentice. Her pretty green eyes held a serene expression as her smile widened; she looked up at her leader with respect and yet at the same time with a certain impatience, curious to know who her mentor would be.

OOC// wait so are Autumnkit, Darkkit, and Sparklekit getting their apprentice names?

OOC: I thought everyone was except for Cherryleaf's kits.

Jaystar watched the young almost-apprentice with proud emerald eyes."From this moment on, intill she earns her Warrior name, this apprentice will be known as Autumnpaw. I will mentor this apprentice, I will do my best to pass on to you all that I know." He announced, reaching down to touch noses with his new apprentice.

Echosong became a bit nervous, she looked up at Riverheart with uncertainty. "I want be sure I won't miss the meeting completely.. I like watching." She had a strange feeling in her heart that she may get her first apprentice, well she was sure all warriors felt that way. But this time, she was almost certain.

Rainkit blushed at Bravekit's words, was he 'chasing' after her? She tried to turn her attention back to the meeting, glad her denmate was receiving her name, and a little jealous she was being mentored by the leader.

Autumnpaw was taken by suprise, but she quickly recovered and reached up to touch noses with her new mentor. Her eyes were also emerald-green, and they reflected the look of pride in her leader's eyes. "Thank you," She mewed quietly.

[Fawnie]

Jaystar nodded at her and stepped back, preparing to appoint a new apprentice. "Flarekit, please step forward." He called out, his tail flicking.

Flarekit raised his head proudly, grinning at his littermates as he whisked away and met his leader's gaze.

Stonepaw purred as Autumnpaw recieved her new name and Jaystar became her mentor. She was lucky to have the leader as her mentor but he was perfectly happy with his mentor but that also meant he had less pressure on him.

Islandkit felt a little jealous when Autumnpaw was named Jaystars apprentice but she pushed it away. The only thing that mattered was that she was going to recieve her apprentice name. Jaystar would choose a good mentor for her and anyone was suitable for the job. She smiled seeing Flarekit go up for his turn.

Bravekit smiled watching the ceremony. He glanced around at his clanmates wondering who Flarekits mentor would be. He was pretty sure that Bluejay was going to be his mentor.

[Fawnie]

"From this moment on, until he receives his warrior name, this apprentice will be known as Flarepaw. Foxstreak, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of excellent hunting abilities and loyalty. I'm sure you will pass down all you know to this apprentice."

The ginger she-cat looked up at Jaystar for a moment before standing and walking up to stand next to Flarepaw. "I will do the best I can.." she mewed and reached out to touch noses with her new apprentice. She wondered why Jaystar had chosen her for a mentor. It wouldnt be long before another warrior would have to take over for her for a few weeks. Although it was a little less than a moon away, and she would do what she could untill then.
