Goldenspot pelted out of the medicine cat's den with her mouth full of thyme and marigold. "Lead me to her." she meowed.

[Kagi]

Finally. Pantherstar thought, then turned around and dashed out of camp. He didn't go full speed, knowing the medicine cat wasn't in as good of shape as warriors. His nose worked rapidly, sniffing out Leafstorm's location. It was easy to smell, since the metallic tang of blood hung in the air.

[Rosalind]

Goldenspot ran along right beside Pantherstar, her heart beating fast at the smell of blood. She soon saw Leafstorm in a clearing with Brightfur.

Leafstorm panted, waiting, hoping she would be ok.

Viperbite had seen Pantherstar and Goldenspots run by. He dashed after them, in case they needed help with anything.

[Kagi]

Pantherstar skidded to a halt beside Leafstorm. He gave each of the cats a worried nod, then looked to Goldenspot. "Just tell me if you need me to do anything." he meowed gruffly.

[Rosalind]

"Pantherstar..." Leafstorm murmered as she drifted off into unconsieusness.

Goldenspot nodded, and started cleaning off the wound with some wet moss she had brought with her. Once the wound was clean she took some of the cobwebs and gently placed them on it, then chewing up marigold she patted that on as well. Turning to Pantherstar she meowed, "We need to get her back to camp, but if we move her to much that wound is going to open again."

Brightfur was glad to see Goldenspot and Pantherstar finally arrive. She stepped back so Goldenspot could do her work. She had to agree that moving Leafstorm too much could easily open the wound again, since that had happened when she tried carrying Leafstorm on her back earlier. But how would they get the she-cat back to camp without opening the wound? Brightfur thought deeply, and wondered if they carried Leafstorm back to camp on something flat that would keep her from bending too much and opening the wound.

Leafstorm came too once more and started shaking from shock.

Goldenspot put some thyme in front of Leafstorm. "Here, take this it will help calm you." turning to Pantherstar she said, "Lay down next to her and keep her warm."

Leafstorm licked the thyme up, and the shaking died down a little.

"Brightfur, Viperbite, do you have any ideas on how to get her back to camp?" Goldenspot asked the two warriors.

[Reirae]

Brightfur's ears pricked up at the sound of her name and her thoughts vanished. "Well i was thinking maybe we should carry her back to camp on something flat, just so that she won't bend too much and open up her wound again." She meowed. Then she turned her attention to a thick strip of bark that was rough on one side and had a smooth, clean surface on the other. That would be perfect, she thought. She bolted to it and dragged it over to Goldenspot. "Would this work? We could put Leafstorm on the smooth part of the bark and we could carry it back to camp." She meowed to the medicine cat. "Bark doesn't bend easily, and if we put Leafstorm on it she wouldn't move very much."

Viperbite nodded at Brightfur's idea."I think that would probably work." He mewed.
