Miraculous Recovery blushed slightly as an alicorn she'd never seen before complimented her on her skill. Well, years of practice and study aren't for nothing! Oh, only half an hour, and I can start adding one more under my belt, so to speak. I dislike be- Oh, it that a flowerpiercer?

~~ TIME SKIP. HIT IT, CHRONOS. ~~

Mira jolted as Tia announced their arrival, having been enveloped in her own world. She shared everypony's excitement, pulling on her ludicrously heavy saddlebags. "Oh, yes! I hope to be in house Gryphon, or Draconequus!" The unicorn exclaimed, voice trembling with anticipation as the carriage slowed to a stop. "I'm always so exited for the Sorting."

I leap out of the carriage onto a gravel path. A tall figure stands above me. "Princess." I breathe.

"hello, children." I smile."as you probably know, I am Princess Celestia, head of this school. Please, follow me into the hall, where you will be sorted, seated and, of course, fed and watered, before meeting the staff and other students, sent to your dorms to unpack, and,finally, having hot drinks and snack in your dorm whilst having free time. I will come into each dorm and talk to you individually. Sound fun?"

"Yes, Princess." I bow.

Rainbow lightning looked out the window. " the students are here!" She said to herself. She walked out of her classroom. " hey Charlie, the kids are here" she said, poking her head in Charlie's classroom.

Miraculous Recovery stepped down from the carriage after Tiara, standing a little ways away from her in front of the immortal Princess of the Sun. The sight of the magnificent alicorn never failed to take her breath away, no matter how many times she saw and spoke with her. Her knees trembled as she bowed, and her saddlebags threatened to overbalance her, but Mira applied a bit of force to her own body with her magic to avoid such an embarrassing incident.

I need to put these down, she panted mentally. But first, food and Sorting! "Yes, Princess." She breathed, straightening, eyes glued to the large, regal pony. The individual pep talk was always something Mira looked forward to, even more than the unpacking. Every year these saddlebags just keep getting heavier. I wouldn't miss out on it for the world, even if my spine is crying out. She applied some soothing magic to her creaking back, determined not to complain.

"Yes, your Highness!" Sleighbell nodded enthusiastically, bowing her head slightly. She was practically jumping up and down on the spot with excitement with the idea of being sorted and the fact she'd just met Princess Celestia.

I turn to a tall-ish unicorn with many bags. "Ah, is this Miraculous Recovery? You saved everyone a lot of trouble, using that spell. I award you ten house points to whatever group you're sorted into. Also, I'll take some of those bags. They look heavy!" I smile, using my magic to carry some bags, walking towards the door.



I happily follow Celestia.

Controlling Her Squee

Miraculous Recovery had to calm herself as the Princess praised her, the great mare's approval instilling the comparatively unimportant and powerless unicorn with awe and joy. No matter how many times, she thought as Celestia relieved part of her burden and her vertebrae wept with joy. "Thank you, Princess. It was my pleasure." She smiled, trotting after her at a decent pace.

Oh, what a day this has been so far! What's next? Mira looked forward to her chat with the Princess more than ever, now. Many ponies were intrigued by Princess Luna and her creative skill, but Celestia had always been her favourite. So strong, so regal, so graceful... She was like a second mother, and the stories of the students of the Sun Princess sang through the ages. Lucky, all of them.
