Deerleap looked towards Fire. She felt a pang inside her. The medicine cat padded over to him. "Good morning, how are you, Fire?"

Fire looked at her, heart soaring for a heart beat. "Great." He mumbled, tail waving low to the ground. The tabby tail swept leaves aside, slowly, at the pace of the tail. His amber eyes, close to slits, blinked, showing a hint of... Something.

Deerleap smiled. "Good. Would you like to hunt a bit? I've been a bit bored recently." She noticed a foreign feeling in her chest. Was it...fondness for this tom? Impossible! She was a medicine cat!

Fire snorted," Okay." The ginger tom, arose to his feet with a huff. He flicked his ear at a fly, annoyed.

"Is something wrong?" The gentle she-cat looked at him as they walked, concerned. She was smaller than him in stature, so for one of his steps, she had to take two of hers.

Fire looked at her with a glance. Cunfused, he flicked his other ear, his right. "Everything is.. Alright Deerleap." The tomcat sped up a little, entering the forest.

"Alright." She followed him. The silence was a bit awkward and Deerleap continued contemplating the feeling. Now she was sure that she was attracted to the tom.

Fire chuckled silently, tasting the air. Scenting a chipmunk, he followed it silently. The tomcat stalked, eyes intent on the prey. It was so close, he felt like he could taste it. Fire leaped, snapping its neck, with sharp fangs.
