Lionkit searched a bit more but could not find any kits or young cats so he sighed and sat down.

He licked her ear. "Hey, i know we are older and all but, could we still have kits?" he asked as he groomed her gently.

Amberstone did a facepalm cat style before looking at Featherstone,"I know this may sound strange and all, buy deary, have you forgotten, that deputies, cant. have. kits?" She said slowly, going over the words one at a time.

Bluepaw straightened. She padded over to Amberstone. "I dont really know why, but maybe it's because a queen would be too busy with her duties," she mewed. maybe I should go hunt... she thought, glancing at the fresh-kill pile.

"well, I was just....nevermidn..:" he said and trotted off into the forest with his tail dragging in the dust.

She sighed. "I also wish for my parents to get back together..." she whispered sadly.

Mistberry smiled down at Pebblepaw as she padded out of camp beside him. "Now the first thing I want to teach you is what to avoid. A cat that eats the wrong berries can die in minutes." She meowed. "Some cats in Bronzeclan use deadly berries to kill a cat who is suffering quickly, but I have never used them. They never have been used in Shineclan, and I intend to keep it that way." Mistberry realized she was getting off topic. "There are two berries that are particularly dangerous: Deathberries, or Hollyberries as some cats call them. The other is Nightshade."

Petalspots looked at Ripplepaw with sympathy. "You deserve a better father than Icepool." She meowed, wrapping her tail around Ripplepaw. "I know you want them to be together again. It would be so much simpler if they had never parted..." She meowed quietly. "But I think Moonshine, as well as Flickersong, would be wise to forget Icepool. He was, after all, a Darkclan cat for a reason."

Icepool curled up into Flickersong's fur.

Flickersong purred and licked, Icepool's fur. "Your kits will be the finest apprentices this clan has ever known." She meowed, watching the new apprentices.

Petalspots, fueled by her anger of not getting an apprentice, and Mantispelt not getting Ripplepaw as an apprentice, hissed at Flickersong. "It's hard to believe you still trust that cat." She meowed, flicking her tail at Icepool, before walking away.

Icepool purred, then he turned to see Petalspots and growled, he stepped up and padded over towards her. "Say that to my face you filthy putrid scum!" He hissed.

"I don't mind if I do, you dirty murderer!" Petalspots hissed into his ear, so no other cat could hear. "I was in Darkclan, too, you know. I know what you have done, Redpool... And I can make you pay for it!"

Icepool growled into her ear. "It doesn't mean you have to tell my kin that I've done something horrible in my past, and even tell them that they deserve a better father then me, I've been the best father I could be!"
