Wolf sprang to his paws, jumping in front of his sister. "Get away!" He meowed bravely, his fur bristling. Patch stepped forward cautiously, slightly scared of the new cat. "They might help us, Wolf." she meowed to her brother. "I'm Patch, and this is my brother Wolf."

Frostflight glanced at Twistedtail. "There just kits, no need to be so harsh," he murmured to the warrior. The gray tom turned to the kits and smiled, "We're not going to hurt you," he soothed. "Where is your mother?"

Doveheart groaned from the pain in her belly, worst then when she had to carry them around where ever she went. "L-lionstripe...?" she studdered, opening her eyes a bit, looking for her mate.
Lionstipe walked over to Doveheart and touched his nose to her head. "It's ok Doveheart. I'm here" He meowed clamly to her, trying not to sound worried.

"Our mother? She died a couple dawns ago. We've been living by ourselves." Patch replied, shifting her paws.
