"She thinks that i love her, and I don't." Helios said softly and walked into his den, curling up tightly to hide his sadness.

Kale walked over and nuzzled Helios. "But i still love you." she wispered

[<Terminal March>]

"Those fox pups you have will hate me...." Helios said.

"no, Saber and Ookima are excited, Alex, not so much. But he'll get used to you. Please come home with me Helios?" Kale begged, pleading in her eyes. This was her final shot. If he refused or came up with anouther excuse, she didn't have a reply.

[<Terminal March>]

"Ok..." he whispered, some tears still in his eyes.

Relief flooded her face. Kale nuzzled Helios and licked his cheek. SHe wimpered and pushed closer to him, comforting him.

"Kale...." He whispered, pressing close to her.

"Well, bye Helios." Kauika said sadly walking back home to her brother.

Halo was sleeping in the corner, snoring loudly.

"Well, i'll sleep outside tonight." she said cuddling up a couple feet away from her den

(How come, every time you have a charrie named Kauika, and I have a charrie named Helios, they always fall in love secretly.)

Kale wimpered again and licked Helios on the forhead. "I love you helios."


Rits saw Kauika walk home and followed her but didn't walk up to her. He lay down in the bushes, not wanting to disturb her.
