A bit about FeatherClan:: The prey found in their territory is about the same as it would be in ThunderClan. They think like ShadowClan, though, and are always battle ready.


Prolouge::
Featherclaw blinked open his pale blue eyes, he was in a strange place. He felt like it was his home, for some reason. He looked around, amazed. It was beautiful here, a flowing stream with crystal blue water. The willow trees seemed to shimmer in the dawnlight, and the in the grass grew beautiful wildflowers. "You like it, don't you?" A soft voice spoke up from behind the dark gray warrior. Featherclaw whipped around, his eyes now alarmed. "Who are you? Where am I?" He asked. A shimmering silver-gray she-cat padded out from behind a tree trunk. "So many questions, yet so little time. I am Silvereyes, your mother," The she-cat purred. Featherclaw heard of his mother before, she died kitting him. "Well, why did you bring me here?" He asked, curiousity getting the best of him. "This is your new teritory. Bring Kinkflower, Shimmerbreeze, Blackclaw and Graypaw with you, find this teritory and make a clan, yours is in grave danger," She meowed, starting to fade. "No! I have much more to ask you!" Featherclaw meowed, running up to her. It was too late, she had already faded away. He was left in the beautiful forest, alone.

When he awoke, he remembered the dream. That was all he thought about for the next moon, finally, he told the clan. "I'm leaving, and I would like for Kinkflower, Shimmerbreeze, Graypaw, and Blackclaw to come with me. I-I had a dream, I need to go find a teritory and make a clan," He meowed. They all figured he was crazy, except Shimmerbreeze, his mate. "I will come," She meowed. "I can tell this means a lot to you," The white she-cat padded over to him. Echostar, the leader didn't protest of him leaving, and they left that day.

Shimmerbreeze and Featherclaw were never seen or heard from again, but Kinkflower, Graypaw, and Blackclaw felt lost. After two moons of thinking they decided to search for them. They set out to find them in the middle of the night, and traveled for one moon before reaching FeatherClan, what they named their new clan. Featherstar had the start of a new clan, in a beautiful, prey filled forest. He dreamt of Silveryeyes again, and thanked her. The clan grew strong, but as seasons passed, a prophecy came to a young cat, and what if the strength of the clan can't fight off the darkness that was to come?

Rules::

~Since your still reading this, I figure you want to join n.n If you want to join you must read the few rules that I have made. ( You'd better D:< -stares intently at you- )
~ First off, Follow all Tess' rules for roleplaying!
~ Try to keep genders somewhat even, we don't want one hundred she-cats and two toms. Think of all the drama that would cause O.o
~ This is semi- literate, as you can tell from the title. Writers Block is fine, but I want at least three sentences each time. It's boring role playing with non descriptive people.
~ I do have a code word, to make sure you have read these rules. The code word is Epicness. :3
~ You must stay active, meaning if you don't post within five days then you will be removed. (If you tell me why, I won't remove you!)
~ No detailed mating or birthing, some users find that gross, like me.

ALDER
Reduces swelling and prevents infection when chewed and applied to a wound. May also be chewed by a cat with a toothache to reduce pain, swelling, and aid in preventing complications.

ALFALFA
Used to prevent tooth decay.

ALOE VERA
Use the gel inside of leaves to cure skin problems or burns.

ASH (TREE)
New shoots are to be eaten, and chewed and applied to the bit of an Adder or Viper to stave off the effects of its poisoned bite.
Keys (seeds) of the Ash tree may also be consumed to fight the pain caused by a stitch in the side.

BORAGE
Leaves and Roots should be consumed to stave off fevers. Seeds and leaves should be consumed by the nursing Queen to increase available milk.
Borage should never be used dried, only green.

BRAMBLE TWIGS
Chew this to a fine syrup. It helps to sleep.

BURDOCK
Leaves may be chewed and applied to wounds that are clear of infection to speed healing.
Roots may be chewed and applied to a wound to draw infection from it.

CATNIP
Leaves and Flowers can be used to relive congestion and coughs.

CELADINE
Used to strenghten weak eyes.

CHAMOMILE
Leaves and Flowers may be consumed to sooth a cat and add to their physical strength.

COBWEBS
Gathered and pressed into wounds to stop bleeding. Generally only used with wounds that risk bleeding heavily as they can cause increased risk of infection.

COMFREY
Used when healing broken bones

DEATHBERRY (DEADLY NIGHT SHADE)
Berries, or any other part of the plant, when consumed will kill the cat who swallows if they are not given immediate help, and even then they may not always be saved. Roots & leaves may be chewed together and applied to sore places, but must NEVER be applied to open wounds.
This is a poison in addition to a healing plant.

ECHINACIA
Used to ease infection.

FEVER
Leaves can be used to reduce fever, in addition to being consumed to aid against colds and stomach ailments.

HONEY
Used to sooth the throat. Particularly good for smoke inhalation.

JUNIPER
Berries ease the stomach and can serve as a counter poison. Leaves are used to ease coughs and other respiratory problems.

LAVENDER
Leaves & flowers are particularly good when eaten for easing pains in head and throat.
Inhaling the sent of fresh flowers can also calm the nerves.

MARIGOLD
Leaves and Flowers should be consumed to relieve chills.
Leaves and Petals can be chewed and placed on wounds to prevent infection.

MOUSEBILE
Bile from the liver of the common mouse may be harvested and used to kill stubborn fleas and ticks.

POPPY (WILD)
Seeds can be consumed to remove pain and aid is sleep.
Flower heads should be consumed together to relive continuous coughs.
Petals and Leaves should be chewed to aid in sleep and improve resting.

TANSY
Leaves, flowers, and Stems should be eaten together to remove worms.
Leaves may be chewed to relive joint aches.
Flowers should be consumed to remove coughs.
Pregnant Queens should NEVER be given Tansy, for it causes miscarriages.

THYME
Should be consumed to calm the anxious cat, or to aid in brining restful sleep.

WATER MINT
Used to help cure bellyaches.

WILLOW TREE
Water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be dripped into the eyes to help clear blurriness of vision. It may also be applied to dry patches of skin to sooth itches.
Small amounts of Willow Bark may be consumed to ease pain, act against inflammation, and to ease diarrhea or fevers.

YARROW
Entire plant should be consumed to induce vomiting.
Entire plant should be chewed and applied to wounds to relive pain and prevent infection.

YEW
To make a cat vomit up poisons.

Name: { Dawnpaw is the name. She got the prefix dawn because she was born at dawn, nothing special. She wishes fo rher warrior name to be Dawncloud, Dawnfall, Dawnwing, or Dawnlight. The leader gets to choose, but thats just what she wishes for.

Short description: { Quite the looker. She is a long furred white she-cat with hazel eyes that range from blue to brown and even green. She is slighty small in size, but you can't tell because of all of her fluff.
Personality: { In a couple words, she is Passionate, Happy, Not trusting, Smart, Energetic And Sharp tongued. P a s s i o n a t e ; Dawnpaw is very passionate about the things she believes in, like StarClan. She knows they will never let her down. She also cares for others more than she cares for herself, and falls in and out of love easily. She honestly, doesn't know what love is or means. When a tom is charming and nice, or even just cute, she will believe she is in love. H a p p y ; This is a good quality in her. Because she is happy most of the time, she makes friends easily. N o t T r u s t i n g ; She doesn't trust any cat that she doesn't know, and it takes a while for her to spill her secrets and pour her heart out to you. Name: { Her name is Silentfall, due to her interesting pelt.
Age: { About 28 moons
Gender: { She-cat
Short description: { Silentfall is a unique individual who always seems to be hunched over in a way that gives you the impression that she is sad. A Calico of some sort. She's a normal height, with a normal she-cat build, if a little more slender, with a very amazing pelt of multiple colors of black, orange and the faint signs of white. Her base fur color is black with different hues of orange riddling her body. You can also find hints of white in her fur, mainly around her paws. She kinda reminds you of autumn colors. A true Halloween cat. Her eyes are a light gentle green that reminds you of the color of new growing sprouts. Silentfall has a slender build and semi-long legs. You can see that the muscle in her hind legs serves her great in her hunts.

Personality: { Silentfall is a nervous train wreck. You will probably never meet a cat that is more nervous and scared then her. Silentfall is a very quiet little thing that likes to blend in with the background and not be noticed. She stammers a lot and will never look you in the eye. She usually only speaks when spoken too, which can be a problem when she wants or needs assistance for something, and when she speaks it is often in a barely audible whisper or just a simple bitter voice. She is quite the downer, and her words are usually very negative. She always acts and feels like something is going to attack her. Due to strong paranoia she isn't very social and does not trust her clanmates very much and she wouldn't be surprised if they wanted her dead. She really wants to help other cats become happy but like I said, she just doesn't trust other cats and her social skills aren't up to bat. In her mind everything wants her dead. She is very docile and shy so she tends to be a big pushover that you can easily step on. She is very critical about herself and always blames herself when things go wrong, even if it was not in her power. She is very clumsy so she does mess up a lot and when she does she tends to punish herself with things like not eating and such. Her low confidence also always makes her never try to do anything big or special, since she's sure she would mess it up somehow. Though she is a coward there is one thing that she cherishes more then anything else. The Warrior Code. She will kill any cat and travel any mountain if she believes it desires it. However how she views the code is not in a way others would view it. Even though Silentfall is generally a docile cat she does have her limits, and when she snaps, all hell breaks lose, and you better hope you're not near her claws.

Likes & Dislikes: { There isnt really much in life that Silentfall enjoys. Plenty of dislikes though. She hates being alone. Sometimes she's too afraid to even breathe. Her worst fear is water though due to falling in a fast river as an apprentice and barely making it out alive. You cant get her to come out on a rainy day, no matter how hard you try.

Short description: { Stonestare is a Russian Blue if that helps give you an idea (it doesn't for me). He is a pretty tall cat with a surprisingly slender build for a tom. His fur is short and is an odd blueish grey. He's known for his perfectly amazing, yet creepy, posture and unblinking stare.

Personality: {Stonestare is a very interesting cat. He tends to act very mysterious and always keeps his motives hidden in an aloof kinda way. Usually his motives are good thankfully. He tends to get lost in space a lot as he contemplates thoughts of all kinds. Stonestare also has the horrible habit of staring at other cats. His stares tend to be intense and he rarely blinks. If you stare back at him or comment about his staring he will just simply smile at you. Stonestare is considered the oddball of the clan. He often acts quite weird. He tends to take things in ways the other cats don't. He is very unpredictable. One day you may see him love an idea you mentioned, then the next day he'll hiss at you once you mention it again. Though he's unpredictable he's a pretty laid back cat. Stonestare is considered a very spiritual cat. He tends to be the peacemaker. If you challenge him to a fight he will usually never fight back. Stonestare is a very fair cat that never likes to be on one side of an argument. He is very unbiased and when he sides with a side you know it must be serious. His default expression tends to be a puzzled frown so many cats thinks he's sad or troubled when actually, he's quite content with his life right now. He says he's gone through the worse of life and will now only have happiness. You honestly cant really get this cat mad. Frustrated? Perhaps, but mad? Nope. A lot of cats think he's a genius though in reality he's a bit of an airhead. Who can be pretty dense much to other cats frustrations. Stonestare has a tendency to be very blunt and he doesn't take things to heart. Though Stonestare is generally a nice cat he has a cruel side like everyone else. If he believes things will only get worse he will get involve and try to make things right by surprisingly tricky and manipulative ways. Short description: {Quickpaw is an adorable small tom with a kititsh voice, and who is about the size of a 4 moon old kit much to his frustrations. Often, he tries to stand as tall as he can to seem tougher, though it never works. His fur is short and white with light tan around the legs and face. He has black rings around his tail and black ears with brownish black face and leg markings. His eyes are a sweet lovely blue. Though small, you can see the strength in those legs of his.

Personality: {Quickpaw may look cute and cuddly, but when he opens his mouth, you learn that he is quite a rude cat with a nasty temper who is always criticizing. He is terribly grumpy and tries to act more mature for his age, however it never works and often takes his emotions out on others. The reason he's grumpy though may take you by surprise. He is not mean by heart. He is just a terribly shy and sensitive cat who protects himself by being grumpy. It's so easy to hurt this cat's feelings or make him get flustered it's ridiculous. So he tries to act tough. He is very caring inside and is always keeping a careful eye on everyone to make sure they're all ok. He kinda likes to be the problem solver or 2nd in command of his friends. Being very protective, he often wants to be the first to try new things to make sure they're safe. This cat doesn't get jokes, yet now and then on random occasions, he tries to make a joke. It's pretty ugly. Quickpaw is very shy around she-cats. He acts even more defensive. He thinks all she-cats are very pretty and its not hard for one to make his face get heated. Is often not taken seriously by the older cats due to his small size and cute voice, and he also use to get teased by the other kits as they grew faster then him. Thus, this has caused Quickpaw to become a very sensitive cat with an inferiority complex. Also unlike a lot of cats, Quickpaw does not believe in Starclan, and instead has his own personal beliefs about what's out there.
Power: { Has the power of the Whisper, thus he can do things like whisper to an animal and understand it, or whisper to the wind and learn of tomorrows weather, or whisper into the ear of a sleeping cat a question and receive an answer. So basically he whispers and receives answers or information or for communication.

Name: { Icekit. Was given the name after found in a forest of snow with Shiverkit, who was shivering like crazy while she merely leaned against him, not showing much indication that the snow was bugging her, though there was no doubt she had been cold too.

Short description: {A small white kit with blue eyes and a grey line on her forehead who often wears an excited expression. Its unknown as to what body type she'll have yet, but it seems she'll be quite the looker.

Personality: {Icekit is quite an energetic cat. She's not afraid of the world and yells for challenges to come whenever they want to, for she believes she will always be ready for them. With that said, Icekit is a fearless cat who waits anxiously for the next thing to happen. This little cat is always bouncing around and playing wherever she goes. She likes to make chores into games and competitions. Icekit is a very competitive cat. She's always challenging other to races and such. She is generally a positive cat, though sometimes she can be a bit mean and bossy, especially if her competitive nature is at play. She's very friendly and trusting which can be a problem when she encounters strangers. Icekit is a sensitive cat who can hold grudges for long periods of time. She has perfection issues going on. When she does something it usually doesn't satisfy her and she will try again and again till she thinks she did somewhat ok. Icekit loves learning and will always pester her future mentor to teach her something new. Icekit actually has a strong hunger for learning. She always wants to work straight away on something new right after she just barley mastered the previous. Though Icekit is friendly and generally aims to please, she has a wild streak and will always question things, including orders. Icekit is also always up to challenging a cat to prove her strength. In the future she will challenge any cat, even if she knows she'll lose. This is also the same for when others challenge her. Icekit is a very good friend and will make sure you're always safe and challenge those who bug you. Sometimes she can be a little too chatty and arrogant, as well as being jealous. She also has a lot of pride which sometimes gets in the way for her to rely on others. You never want this cat to be bored. When she's bored she looks for trouble and often drags others along. Its recommended though that you do not try pranks on her. She will remember them for a long time, and might not be willing to have your back due to that. She loves her brother to death by the way, and always tries to be a good sister though she's more childish and ill-tempered then him.
