Melodysong

Melodysong snores silently in her sleep. She dreamed about her kits and her mate. In her dream she heard growls behind her. A fox. Ran to her family, telling them to run, when she reached them they were gone. The fox was gone. She was left in complete darkness. Melodysong wakes with a start. Her heart was pounding and she was panting.

Littlecomet licks her head, "Easy, what's wrong? It was a dream, only a dream, Melodysong." He draws her closer.

Melodysong

Melodysong didn't know what was happening. She was mixing the real world with her dream. "The fox. Where's the fox!" She whimpers.

Littlecomet shook his head, "No, there is no fox. It was only a dream. It's okay." He began to groom her back with long, loving strokes. "It's okay."

Melodysong

Melodysong clears her mind. "Littlecomet?" She whispers.

Littlecomet relaxes and purrs, "I'm here. Don't worry."

"I'm sorry." She mumbles to her mate. "Did I wake you?" Melodysong presses her muzzle to Littlecomet's.

Littlecomet shook his head, "No, you didn't. I've been awake all night. It's almost dawn."

Melodysong

Melodysong nods. "Littlecomet, let's go for a walk." She mews to him. "I need to stretch my legs out." Melodysong sits up, nudging her mate up.

Dapplemoth

Dapplemoth wakes up in the nursery, feeling a little light headed.

Littlecomet purrs and gets to his feet. He stretches and yawns as they walk out of the little cave. He raced forward and climbed a tree. He waited for a few moments and then pounced on a bird. He killed it and jumped down. "Here," he said through a mouthful of feathers, "have this!"
