DewMist crashed to the ground, Lightning falling onto her back. She stood immediately, and ran. Lightning hung on like a burr, his tiny claws piercing her scruff. She stopped when she suddenly saw a thunder path. It reeked or disgusting things and as a monster roared by, it splashed her with stinky, slimey, water. DewMist gagged and a loud yowl caused her to whip around. The two-legs were coming after them! The two-legs had ran out of the big nest and were coming after them with nets. DewMist yowled with surprise and ran into the thunder path without looking. Suddenly, a monster was upon her. She heard a loud deafening honking sound and a squeal as suddenly the monster veered to the side harshly, ramming into her shoulder. DewMist was thrown back and she heard a faint crack within her. Wincing for the blinding pain that came across her, she scrambled to her paws and looked around for Lightning. Where was he?! Suddenly, she spotted him his tiny body at the center of the thunder path. She picked him up by the scruff without even checking if he was breathing. The two-legs were at the edge of the thunder path, still running after her. Suddenly there was another deafening screech and the loud impact of heavy pelts. DewMist whipped around with Lightning in her jaws to see that another monster had slammed into the monster that had hit her, causing both to cave in and the first one to roll over once. The two-legs that were after DewMist and Lightning stopped and ran over to the monsters, yowling. DewMist turned and ran across the thunder path fully and into the woodland that loomed before her, pain causing her to stumble and curse. She reached an abandoned fox den and tripped on the way inside. As she hit the ground the world went black.....
