Apple walked towards the home-tree, her pinkies in her mouth. "Hush," Apple said to the pinkies as they started shrieking.

Cherry scurried up the steps in home-tree and took the pinkie up to the nursery. She laid it down and wrapped around and waited until Apple came up to join them.

Xii needed to think. She ran back into the forst and laid down on the nearest branch.

Apple walked up the steps and went to Cherry, "I hope they survive, winter is almost here." Apple put down the other pinkies before wrapping them up in leaves, "Sleep tight little ones." Apple looked at Cherry and asked here, "Is there any food to eat?"

"Yes," Cherry said blankly. "We've got plenty down in the food pile near our home-tree." Cherry lightly scratched her ear. She looked in the distant forested area.

Gyro flicked his ear and thought about what was going on in CherryWoodClan. HE wondered if they'd be stronger than they were at the last battle that had be fought in CherryWoodClan's territory, it had been disastorous when CottonWoodClan had lost most of they're warriors.

"Ok, please take care of them while I go get some food," Apple said as she left the room. Apple dragged a piece of food up the stairs towards the baby mice, "I'm back." Apple put the food on the floor and picked up one of the baby mice.

Cherry walked over to the runt and lifted it up. She checked to make sure it was ok before she set it back down. She picked up her medicine bag and scurried down the steps toward the Healer's den. She set down her bag and began to put away herbs.

Apple picked up the runt and rocked it back and forth and said, "You shall be Rain."
