Dewstar could hear Amberstone. She got up and turned backing away and racing up the highledge and into her den. She raced unto her nest about to cry. She looked up noticing Echostorm. "I'm sorry, You should not see me like this. Go ahead to tell Dappleleaf you may be her apprentice. I need a moment alone." she curled in her nest tightly thinking about what she had done.

Applefrost heard her sister and raced into the warriors den. "What happend?" she asked seeing her father. "What's wrong father?" she asked.

Icetalon stalked through the forest, her tail twitching iritably. She ignored the mice scurring around the base of the trees-she knew she couldn't catch them. Instead, she sped up and raced to the lake shore, slowing to a stop with the water lapping gently around her paws. She stared down at her reflection, a white, scarred ghost. She felt an anger grow in her, and she slapped her paw down violently on the surface of the water, sending large ripples through the quiet lake.

Minkpaw didn't stop, just tackling him playfully, her fron paws on his chest. "Got'cha!" She giggled, flicking her tail happily. It was good to have a friend in the Clan. And he was very nice.

Annabelle looked at the large rock with a curious expression. She'd heard yowls and growls. Not that she wasn't used to it. Maybe she should leave. The kit sighed, climbing up to the top to where the cat named Dewstar lived. "Dewstar?" She mewed softly, her ears perked. Just in case.

Echostorm hung his head. He knew coming here had been a mistake. He had ruined lives but he could not build up the curate to leave. "Yes Dewstar" he meowed softly, not looking into her eyes. As he padded out he gently brushed his tail to her cheak and down her side, telling her it was ok.

Dewstar looked up at Echostorm. "Yes?" she asked to Annabelle. But her gaze was rested on Echostorm. Why did she send him away? Her two good pal's, her two best friends, she had crushed Foxfur's heart by loving Echostorm and she had sent Echostorm away. She felt lonlyer then ever, why did it have to be like this? She sighed shaking her head giving herself a rest from thinking.

Echostorm trotted down to the lake. He didn't hessitate this time before plunging in. Nothing felt better to him then water. It cleared his mind of all thoughts. As it came over his neak, then his cheaks, then finnaly covering his ears. He stayed under for a while before resurfacing, wishing he could think of some way to make this up to Dewstar.

Ashfall dipped his head quickly to Featherpaw. "Sorry. Something's wrong with Foxfur." He bounded away, and skidded to a stop when he saw tears streaming down his father's face. "Amberstone, what's going on?" He asked, scared.

Applefrost turned to Ashfall. "I'm wondering the same thing."

Dewstar sighed curling up and almost falling asleep.

Emberpaw got to her paws, her ears pricked as she heard a lot of noise. "What the-" She stopped as a mischvious thought struck her. "Now's my chance!" She mewed to herself before padding out of the camp, her tail twitcing with the excitement she hadn't felt in a long time.
