Ashpaw waited for Deewstar to give him his warrior name. He smiled at Featherpaw.

Featherpaws head went down a bit, her cheeks going hot again. Why was it that he could do that to her with a smile? Still, she somehow didn't mind it, in fact, the butterflies that went in her stomach felt nice. After a moment, she grew her confidence and smiled back, her eyes twinkling in excitement and happiness. Ashpaw was going to be a warrior!

Ashpaw's eyes glinted. Did she like him? Wait, she couldn't. She was a medicine cat apprentice. She wasn't allowed to. He turned back to Dewstar.

Blazefire thought about Robinflight. She would be proud. And his kits. They would be proud too.

Dewstar gazed around, Where was Otterpaw? She shook her head, she had to make them warriors now. "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior names, Echopaw, Applepaw, Ashpaw, Mistpaw, Otterpaw, Amberpaw and Minkpaw, From this moment you shall be known as, Echostorm, Applefrost, Ashfall, Mistfang, Otterpelt, Amberstone and Minkjump, StarClan honors your bravory and your strength and we welcome you as full warriors of ThunderClan." she announded proudly. She turned scrambled down the highlegde and towards the seven newly warriors. She touched their shoulders with her nose, she smiled as she felt her daughter's excitment rishing through her body. Then last she turned to Echostorm, their was an awkward look in her eye as she turned to touch Echostorm's shoulder with her nose. She stepped back and stared at him for a few moments. She shook her head and turned towards her new den. "Blazefire!" she called without looking back to see if her deputy was following.

Echostorm smiled ever so slightly, his eyes still as intence as before. He followed his leader for a moment, a new look of pride in his steps "Thank you" he said seriously, touching his tail gently to her shoulder before trotting past her, towords the camp entrence to think again.

Featherpaw sprang forwards, bowling Ashp- No, Ashfall over. "Congradulations!" she exclaimed, standing over him with a giggle. "You'll be a great warrior" she purred, then grinning as she stepped off him.

Amberstone leaped beside Ashfall, her brother,"We are warriors"She purred.

Otterpelt smiled and licked Dewstar's shoulder respectfully. He looked over at Featherpaw and sighed inside. He liked the medicene cat apprentice.

Featherpaw shyed away slightly, stepping to the side to let Ashfall speak with his sister. She suddenly felt slightly odd... She sighed. She already knew why. She looked over at Ashfall, a look of pain in her eyes that only she could feel. She could never... They could never be together.
