Cloudpaw shot Icefang an annoyed look. She nodded at Echopaw eagerly.

Dewstar entered camp. She looked at all of the cats, they hadn't noticed her yet. Then she jumped as a cheerful screech came from the apprentice den. She could guess it from anywhere, she turned and seen Applepaw racing up to her. "Mother! Your back! Are you Dewstar now?" she asked. Dewstar laughed. "Find out for yourself." she padded up to the highledge and looked before hopping up. "Cats of ThunderClan! I have returned from the Moonpool!" she yowled and started climbing. She gazed down. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the highledge for a clan meeting!" she yowled.

Waterfang heard Dewstar's yowl. She was back already? He padded up to the highledge and sat gazing up at his new leader.

Applepaw raced after Waterfang and sat down.

Minkpaw returned from her playing, sighing. She had heard Dewstar's yowl, and wasn't happy. All that was gonna happen was she would get her hopes up, just to be passed up. She was so much older than the apprentices now, that she knew they probably made fun of her, laughed, and disliked her. The gray striped she-cat sat next to Waterfang, looking at her paws.

Dewstar gazed down waiting for the rest to come.

Applepaw shivered with excitment. Was today really the day they became warriors? She was so happy right now she could leap to her paws and yowl to her mother to make them warriors already.

Ashpaw ran to sit next to his sister, his eyes shining. His mother was leader of ThunderClan!

Hazelberry sat next to Minkpaw. He leaned closer and whispered in her ear. "Are you okay"

Icetalon twitched her ear and turned to look at Dewstar, then stood and padded over, settling down again a few feet away.

Echopaws tail shot up. She was back! A bright smile stretched across his face "Come on Cloudpaw!" he said excitedly,rushing towords highrock.

Featherpaw raced off after everyone, heading into the clearing. Being medicine cat apprentice, she didn't sit below the highrock with the deputy and medicine cat, so she looked around, faintly uneasy. It was always so hard being different from the other apprentices. After a moment, she walked shyly over to Ashpaw, looking at her paws a bit, and sat down with him.

Cloudpaw groaned and reluctantly followed Echopaw.
