Finchpaw nodded. "Everything up here is just so quiet, and peaceful. I mean, you can hear the birdsong and the breeze in the leaves, but it's natural noise, you know?" He took a drep breath. The air was so much fresher up here in the tree. And he was here with Morningpaw. That just made everything perfect.

Crimsonpaw placed the last amount of clean moss in the nursery and he smiled triumpetly and looked up across the trees. He hummed and waved his crimson tail then blinked, seeing something among the foliage of the pine. He skuttled in a circle or two then bounded out of camp in a hurry. He trotted over to the tree he saw the cats in and looked up then slumped down and closed his eyes

[size=85][color=#808080]Morningpaw nodded, "That's why I come up here so often. Just, to get away." She meowed, looking down at her paws, "The birds are my friends, and I don't know what I would do, if I couldn't hear the breeze ruffling the leaves." Morningpaw said, sighing. "But the birds I love, because they don't judge. Everybody else does, and it's just so cruel. You know, that's part of the reason I'm so shy. I don't want anybody to judge me, like my mother and my siblings did." She was unaware that Crimsonpaw was down below them, listening to their conversation.

Finchpaw nodded slowly. "Yeah. I wonder why so many cats do that. But if you ever feel like talking, I'm here. I won't judge you. I can listen." He laid his tail across her shouldrts comfortingly.

[size=50][color=#808080]Morningpaw only nodded silently, flicking her tail back and forth. Her eyes were begining to brim with tears, but she showed no sign of them, and only looked away, pretending to be interested in a leaf. "But, I guess we should get going. W-would you like to hunt?"
Morningpaw stood up carefully on the branch, on her tiptoes. Taking a deep breath, she smiled, "That was fun."

(Sorry, had to watch my little cousins while my mother prepared lunch c:)
Finchpaw nodded and stood up. It had been fun, and he knew that he meant what he had said. He would listen to her, even if they were only friends. He would help her, when she was afraid and when she needed a friend to stand by her side.

Morningpaw nodded, and sighed. She felt comforted by Finchpaw, and happy that she had a friend that would be there for her. Jumping down, she came in face-to-face with Crimsonpaw. She let out a startled yowl and flung herself back. "Oh my starclan Crimsonpaw!" You scared the living lights out of me!

Echopaw scented the mouse as well. "Go catch it." She mouthed.
