The warriors' body lay cold and unmoving not far from Stormflight. The she-cat lowered her head. She had not known Gingerpelt well, but he was still her Clanmate, and he had been loyal to Sunclan for all of his time as a warrior.
Please welcome him among you. He died much too soon. She silently prayed to Starclan, before raising her head to Froststar again.

Stomflight purred, glad to find her friend okay.
"I might, later, but I'm going to find Darkflame first, and make sure he's not hurt. Do you know where he is?"

The gathering! Stormflight had only been to a few gatherings, and she was hoping that she could go to the next one.
The dappled grey warrior wandered up to her leader, and walked beside her.
"Froststar, would you like me to go on border patrol? I could take the unhurt warriors. It would be better for them then staying in camp doing nothing. The fresh-kill pile won't restock itself, either, and Ashpelt could probably use some more herbs."
She was determined to work as hard as possible for the next few days, starting with the sunhigh patrol.
