"No fair! You two get to go on a patrol and I don't! Sunpaw you will go on more patrol because your deputy's apprentice," Rubypaw said harshly. She knew she shouldn't be so mean, but she was a bit angry. She looked at her shocked brothers. She sank her head and walked away. "What a mouse brained cat I am," she thought.
Wildpaw was shocked, but understood his sister's anger. He looked back to Sunpaw who glared at Rubypaw. Wildpaw sighed, "I know," he said responding to Sunpaw's first comment. He looked at the fresh-kill pile and took a mouse and a vole and brought it back. Sunpaw took the vole and began eating. "You know she didn't mean it," sighed Wildpaw.
Goldenpaw sat in a tree staring off into the some what endless territory. She seemed all alone being the only cat that was scared of being a warrior. "Am I truly a warrior?" she mumbled. She heard a rustle and let out a yelp. "Yes," said Rubypaw. She nuzzled her sister comfortingly. Goldenpaw purred being grateful she may have someone.
IvoryWhistle stared at the quarreling apprentices. She continued to eat the sparrow, a small pile of feathers to her right. The sun shone bright, making her pur.

Wolffang looked over at the blind tom when he didn't answer. He usually didn't like to be in company of other cats, but something about Rivershade that made him rather enjoyable to be around. He laid down on his side, his cheek against the warm rock, and flicked his ears as he heard a patrol being formed. He wondered if he should ask if he and his apprentice could join. He looked up and scanned the camp, wondering where Cloudpaw was, but she wasn't anywhere to be seem.

Moonpaw looked around after Fallenstar dismissed them. She was full of energy and wanted something to do. She scanned the camp, looking for her mentor and saw him staring at the ground. She had never seen him like this before and wondered if he was okay. She slowly padded up to Oaksplash and sat down in front of him. "Oaksplash?" she mewed to him. "Are you okay?".
Cloudpaw jumped up from her nest. She shook her fur and blinked the sleep from her eyes. She was late! She couldn't believe she woke up so late! It was almost sun high. She dashed out of the apprentice den and almost tripped on her mentor.
