" Ya i think we should " he said jumping off the rock waiting for Raquel.

Tonic reared swung her head around and said to her foals " run that way " she pionted towards the herd with her hoof then she turned back to the cougars and reared hiting one on the head as she came down she snorted with delight she hadent even noticed the pain she was in but she had to protect her foals.

WildFire looked at his sister " come on " he said sniffing the air and running towards the herd but stayed close to his sister so he would not loose her.

Raquel followed him and then froze, ears perking and muscles tensing as she heard the sounds of fighting mixed with panicking whinnies. She trotted forward onto the ledge, overlooking the battle. She watched silently, tail twitching as the foals and Tonic escaped the cougars. She hissed softly to herself, a snarl forming on her face. "The idiots," she muttered. "They let her go." She leapt gracefully down from the ledge and roared, loud enough for Tonic to hear. It was full of fierce anger and frustration, along with a promise from Raquel herself that she would die with her foals. She looked back at Apache, some of her anger abated. "We should go speak to Weed," she said softly.

"Yes we should and i need to inform him that you are now beta female" he said smiling hearing the srceams of the fight he gave Raquel a smile and jumped in the water keeping his head surfaced he her more of the fight but her kept his eye on Raquel waiting for her he was happy and at the moment he did not care about any horses

Raquel smiled and walked into the water, smacking her heavy paw on the surface and splashing Apache once more. She had to admit that she loved his upbeat humor, despite the fact that they had lost the prime chance to take down the horses. She waded deeper and began swimming; though it was unnecessary, it was the quickest shortcut to where they needed to go.

Apache dived down deep almost to the bottom and swam using all his strenghth to go at full speed he went thru the cave entrance and came up for some air. it felt good to come in the sun he thought.

Tonic slashes one more with her hoof knocking it out there were two more left.

Lathura stalked a small deer and ran after it and killed it she was satisfied with her kill and started to walk back to camp with the four deers on her back.
