Sagewing turned from her sons to Tintedheart. "So...?" she wondered if he wanted to talk about anything, just anything he felt like.

Pineheart then thought of when she had first met Blackfang. He had been a young apprentice who had wanted to help the Clans but had instead gotten trapped with the Dark Forest cats. She smiled and looked at her paws. He had always been and still was just a loyal, silly tom. Pineheart blinked and then remembered when all her family had died, and Blackfang had told her that he would stay with her even if he had to leave his Clan. That was before any cat knew what was going to happen to the Clans. Pineheart looked up, her eyes sparkling with happiness and joy.
