Brightfrost tensed as she scented blood, and Patherpaw. She ran to the camp entrance, suddenly steady on her feet, her head clear. Then she saw her apprentice, wounded, scarlet blood bright against his black pelt. "Pantherpaw!" She yowled. Th wound was strange; she had never seen one like it. She instantly forgot how much she was in love with Dragonflame. Her apprentice. Her poor apprentice. She loved him like a mother loved her kits. She rushed forwards, and licked the wound clean. The blood was satly, but she didn't care. "Put him down." She mewed when she had finished clening the wound. She knew enough about herbs to know what to do with this wound. She ran, grabbed some cobwebs from some trees and bushes, and pressed them on the cut. "Pantherpaw. You will be fine. You will be a warrior. I promise." She promised her apprentice.

Brightfrost picked Patherpaw up gently, trying not tdislodge the cobwebs. She half dragged, half carried him to his nest. She layed him down. "Spiritpw, keep him company." She then turned to Dragonflame. "I'm so worried about him." She confessed.

Dragonflame nods and says "From what i can tell a fox jumped him, gave him that cut and ran. Kingdompaw, get Darkstar". Kingdompaw ran to the leaders den.
