Glaciereye let out a shriek, he sliced down Flowerheart's back before she jumped onto the highrock and slowly made way out of camp. "If the gathering's bound to have you and your code-breaking warrior among it then I for one would rather die than show up!" He passed Abyss's oak, not noticing him and plopped onto his haunches behind the large tree, cleaning his wounds. Stupid Lionclaw...I hope he rots! He thought angrily, still cleaning the deep claw-marks.

Abyss dreamed that he was back in the SunClan camp. He was in between the warm bodies of Angelkit, Softkit, and Fawn. "Abyss..." Angelkit's voice rang in his ears. "Abyss, Abyss..." Softkit's joined hers. "Abyss, Abyss, Abyss!" Fawn, the kit who's name he would never know was speaking as well. "What?" He asked. "What is it?" "You didn't do anything," They whispered. "I-but-there was nothing I could do! Honest!" "You didn't save us...we needed you...ABYSS!" Suddenly, their eyes turned bright red, and they unsheathed razor-sharp claws. Abyss's eyes widened, and he stepped away. "Don't hurt me!" He cried, ducking away. "Please don't hurt me!" A large silver she-cat suddenly entered the nursery. She dispatched the three she-kits with three swipes of a paw, and Abyss woke up, gasping for breath, eyes wide and terrified, whipping his head around in fear.

Flowerstar gasped and wailed.

Nightwing dragged himself towards the pool, letting his muzzle fall into it as he slowly drank...wondering where Glaciereye had gone. He closed his eyes, face deep into the water as he slowly felt the pain die away. He opened his eyes to how things used to be...as apprentices...when things where happy and simple...Nightwing jolted awake, leaping up from the water and coughing it out. He moved back onto the land and curled up into a tight ball, blood leaking from his mangled legs.

Silverfeather looked around " this clan is falling apart" she whisperd

Flowerstar gasped "Leave!" she wailed.

"No." Flowerstar hissed "Glaciereye!"
