Cricketleap suddenly lashed out, catching a large barramundi. It killed and and place it down. He purred.

"That was awesome!" She meowed in praise, getting to her paws so that she could get closer to study the fish. "Well done!"

Appearing out from the grass, he gave an approving purr. "It's not a bird, but I'm proud nonetheless for your effort. We should head back now." He meowed.

Ashpaw nodded and trotted beside her mentor happily back to camp.

He sat by the camp's entrance, his eyes regaining their normal look. He waited patiently for the leader to greet him again, a little worried inside about how he did.

Scarletstar padded up to him. "You've passed."

"We should be heading back to camp," Yuccamask mewed finally, looking at the three fish they had caught, and then up at the darkening sky. "Just in case..."

Brighteyes followed Scarletstar, sending a warm smile in the direction of the young apprentice, proud of her first catch, and then back over at Stormfeather. "Well done." She added onto the end of Scarletstar's statement, dipping her head slightly in respect.

Yuccamask grabbed her koi by the base of its fins, and hauled it off the ground, her head tilted awkwardly in an attempt to lift it.

"Here," Cricketleap meowed, dropping his smaller and lighter fish. "You can take that and I will take you'res?" He asked.

"Oh it's o-" She started, stopping mid sentence when he relieved her of her catch. "Thank you..." She purred quietly, embarrassed by her lack ability to carry it, and his kind gesture.
