Ｄａｒｋｃｌａｎ {Ｓｅｍｉ-Ｌｉｔ} Ａｃｃｅｐｔｉｎｇ

"Hunting sounds nice." Silverstorm said smiling.

[EO+RS]

"I brought you the herbs." Sunshine flicked her tail at the pile. "Oh, and Flintbreeze came back." she smiled at the medicine cat.

Blackhaze purred. "Then hunting it is. Lead on." He stood by her side, ready to walk with her out of camp.

[despairz]

"Oh, I'm so happy for you! And I need to tell you something." She murmurs, purring. "Your expecting kits." She tells her slowly.

[EO+RS]

Sunshine jumped, her fur standing straight out and her tail bushing up. "What?" she meowed in shock. Her legs began to tremble and she sat down, licking her chest fur and grooming herself to hide her embarrassment. Before grooming her belly, she sniffed it and looked hard at it, and was shocked, when she nosed it, to feel like she had tiny rocks in her belly. Jumping up suddenly, she raced outside to see Flintbreeze, her tail streaming behind her as she looked for her mate.

"I'm over here, Sunshine." He meows and pads toward her, seeing shock in her eyes. "What's wrong...?" He asks.

[squirelife]

Silverstorm nodded and walked out of the camp and into the forest. She looked back and paused to let Blackhaze catch up before moving on. Her blue eyes were bright with excitement.

[EO+RS]

Sunshine was panting, still shocked. Half of her was very, very afraid and the other half was extremely excited. "Flintbreeze, I, I'm, Honeyleaf just said-" she paused a moment to catch her breath and force the unwilling word out of her throat. "Kits!" she burst out, pressing into him, needing his calming warmth.

Blackhaze caught up and walked with Silverstorm happily, waiting for her to decide where they would hunt and when. His tail was twitching happily and sniffing the air occasionally.

Silverstorm slowed down a bit once they were deeper in the forest. "So is there anywhere you would prefer to hunt?" She asked Blackhaze.

[despairz]

"That's great!" The tom purrs, resting his maw on her head. "And I'll be here with you every step of the way." He promises, licking her head. "Why don't we just go for a walk? Firgure out thing..." he smiles.

[EO+RS]

Blackhaze shook his head. "It's all you today." he mewed, firmly yet gently, smiling at her. He slowed to keep pace with her, waiting for her decision.

Sunshine leaned into him a little more, eyes wide and still not fully believing it. "Yeah..." she muttered faintly, then, more strongly "Sure. Figuring out..." She twined her tail with his, feeling awkward walking with little lives in her belly now. She started to purr, still very confused. Her, pregnant? She couldn't wrap her mind around it.
