Shadow opened an eye and peered out at the world. He raised his head and looked out of the cave. Shadow yawned then crawled out of the cave, scratching his back on the roof of the cave wall. He blinked his eyes and then shaded then with his dark wing. Shadow looked around the bright clearing. He stood on a large grassy hill a good seven feet above the valley that loomed below (do you get it?). Shadow folded his wings then began to climb down. He skidded down the hill, his feet barely touching the ground. Shadow slowed to a halt when he reached the bottom. A cluster of trees lined the area, making it difficult to find. He padded over to a small pond that lay in the middle of the clearing. Shadow lowered his head to the clear water and lapped. Cold water ran down his throat, sending a shiver down his spine. He looked to his right and gazed at the deer carcass he had eaten last night. All that was left was a pile of bones. Shadow licked his lips then raised his head. His stomach grumbled. Shadow growled then padded into the forest, in search for a meal.

Name:Fallen Ashes (Ash for short)
Gender: Female
Age: Around 376 in dragon years (pretty young) and in human years, around 18 or 19
History: Fallen Ashes lived in a small group of dragons, her mother and father were the leaders of the group. When she was born, she was named Diamond Anima, which means "Untamed spirit/soul" because Ash was of half demon blood and of half spirit, leaving her only a very thin 5 percent dragon blood, maybe even no plain dragon blood at all. She started out as a normal spirit dragon youngling, happy, but then the demon side of her began to get stronger and stronger, passing the spirit half's strength. The demon side of her kept on dominating her, and soon she began to do things to her clan around her that she didn't wish to do while possessed by her demon side. She may kill food and then leave it there, killing just for sport. She may "accidentally" attack a passing clan member on impulse, and her emotions and anger may get out of control. With no choice left, the clan had to banish Akemi. Akemi shortly after changed her name, "Diamond Anima," to Fallen Ashes, trying to forget her past. But what she didn't know, was that what has already happened, is hard to forget.
Personalty: Ash is slightly different than a few other female dragons. She's more of a tomboy than a girl. She doesn't believe in love and just thinks that it's some silly thing that she doesn't want to be involved in. She doesn't like talking around other people, and isn't that social when it comes to talking or meeting new dragons. She tries her best to remain unseen, but is a thief in a way, and is good at grabbing things without other dragons noticing. She is good at blending in with the shadows too, but only in her demon form. When she switches from her demon form to spirit, or spirit to demon, she will fall to the ground suddenly in a dead faint, to allow the other side of her to take over, and then wake up shortly after, changed. Ash doesn't believe in friends either, and thinks the same of friendship as she does of love. To her, she will always be an outcast, and unwanted.

Good or evil: Depends on what form she is in. She's mostly evil, since the demon side of her is getting stronger every day, but when she is in her white dragon form for the few days, she is good.

Name: Azrael
Gender: Male
Age: 546 years old, in human years, about 20, 21
History: Azrael was accidentally left behind by his clan during a large raid from evil dragons. They killed most, but the remaining ones fled. Taking Azrael to be dead, they left him behind, unable to carry him. He was just a young hatchling then. He soon recovered miraculously, surviving on the carcasses of the other fallen dragons. He made sure not to eat any of his own clan though, just because he thought he would feel better that way. He grew up strong, and now is a brilliant fighter and hunter, and knows the ways of the wild very easily. He never wants to join another clan again, because he's gotten it into his head that they would leave him behind.

He then found a mate, and they both loved each other very much. They balanced each other. His mate was gentle and kind, himself fierce and ruthless. But then, one day when they were sleeping, they were attacked and his mate was killed. Azrael couldn't stay behind to see if there was any hope that she would be alive or not, unless he wanted himself to get killed, so he was forced to run. Now he has totally shut himself off from love, not wanting to through the same pain that he had gone through when his last mate was killed.
Personalty: Azrael isn't a dragon that you could exactly say is true to his word. Most of the times he is, but he usually resorts to lying or tricking the other opposing dragon. He's sly, quick to react, and seems mostly annoyed or angry all the time. He's kind of like Shadow in a way. He doesn't really like being in the company of other dragons, more of a solitude type. He seems cold and evil on the outside, but on the inside he's a real softy and loves to have fun. That part of him would be showing if he hadn't cut himself off from love when his mate was killed. Now he feels that he can't trust anyone, and is constantly searching to avenge his fallen loved ones, especially his mate.
