When the fires of hell, sent by the restless spirits devour their dying world, Ice Pack must conquer adversity and come out on top. But how can they face this apocalyptic world if their pack is falling apart from the inside?


Animals are dying, humans are gone. Mother Nature has retreated and with no more food, Ice Pack has been forced to move yet again. Those that remain will perish, and those that leave have very little hope of a future as well. They must find a sanctuary as prophesized in a dream of their mage, and they have to find it before it’s too late.

But if that journey wasn’t hard enough, there is an inner war breaking them all apart. Wolves from the past are being reborn into young, new bodies, and with heightened senses and wisdom beyond their years, they are cherished within the pack. But these wolves are not the only youngsters growing up into the next generation. While some are born gifted, others are not so lucky. Normal as they come, these wolves are jealous of the special treatment their brothers and sisters receive. They don’t want to remember the past. And as time goes on, the elders whom cared about the incarnates, as the wave of reborn wolves have been called, are dying and disappearing. There is no one left to protect them from the jealousy of their pack mates now.

How can they all survive if they can’t be at peace within the pack? Will a new pack form? Will they make it to a sanctuary before they all starve and die out? And where are the Rebels after so many years?

This is a new page in Ice Pack’s fading history, and it's threatening their future.

|| O V E R V I E W ||
Okay, so this is the new Destruction and Creation Wolf Roleplay. This RP has been going about 3 or 4 years now. We have a home base in which all off topic or non reply posts can go. Newcomers are always welcome, though will not be given priority in terms of royal positions, but can work their way up during the RP of course This is Semi Lit, so remember that when posting (every post must be over four sentences, I do understand word block but even then two or more sentences is needed, so as to keep up the quality of posts.

|| T H E. I N C A R N A T E S ||

Wolves from the past born into new bodies, the incarnates are well respected by Ice Pack's older generations. Their siblings and denmates (within a five year age group) however, begrudge them for their special treatment and unfair advantage. Each incarnate is an old soul in a new body. When first born, an incarnate will look as their previous body did, but they will not remember their past life, except their last moments. As they grow up, they will remember their life and mistakes, and will become their old selves again. All incarnates have some sort of advantage in terms of a specialised skill such as speed, strength, size or hearing, etc. These heightened senses or skills are marginally better, but only enough so that it can aid them and their pack members better than normal without becoming a superpower. Most 'gifts' are to do with the way they died, for example a wolf whom was ambushed will probably be able to hear a lot better, while a wolf who died in a battle may become stronger. These incarnates also are often known to have visions or dreams that can be prophetic.

|| T H E . A P O C A L Y P S E ||

The world has begun to die, after so much neglect from the human race. All humans for the most part are dead, and only relics of their lives remain as the world begins to crumble. The initial wave that killed all humans and infected many animals with diseases that have dwindled their numbers was a month ago from the beginning of this story, and now animals die from diseases that take over their minds and bodies, either one or the other or both, and make them waste away until they eventually die. Wolves were spared from this, however because of their diet have been affected. Some wolves did die in the initial wave and occasionally a wolf will succumb to the disease, though it is usually from eating an infected beast. The signs of this are not noticeable to any but the wolf until it is mostly too late, and then that is when the insanity and atrophy begins.

Fires burn throughout the world and many flora has died, so most of the world is barren, however some places are less affected than others and some greenery can be found under the neverending cloud of settling ash upon everything.

There is a sanctuary promised by a wolf in the dreams of the mage, and this sanctuary has been promised to every pack in the world. There are a few sanctuaries and they only accept a certain amount of packs to sustain life, and there no wolf can get the disease or starve. These places are untouched by the apocalypse, though it is unknown why. They are surrounded by an invisible dome and to enter, a pack must prove its worth to the sanctuary. If they fail they are turned away. There is limited time to get there as packs flood in to find the place for solace.

The newest generation is at war with itself and everyone else. Jealous of the gifted wolves, the incarnates, and wishing to forget the past that they have been plagued with since birth, they wish to wipe out the gifted wolves so they can live free of having to live with the guilt of their past mistakes. There is said to be some unspoken war between old an new,as the elder wolves are dying unexpectedly with no reason and a mark to the back of their neck with an unrecognisable bite mark. Conspiracy is that it is an extremist group conspiring within the pack to end the older wolves reign so they can exact revenge on the incarnates without the watchful eye of the elders judging them. They wish to end the constant favouring of them over the normal wolves, but in their battle to end the past, they are rubbing out their future as well.

Despite this battle they are pushed together through the adversity in order to make it to the sanctuary on time.

|| T H E. E N E M Y ? ||

The Rebel pack has been off the radar for nearly six generations, and with no contact or traces of them since Dante ruled, Ice Pack's allies turned enemies are presumed dead. But could a pack that strong really not thrive? Racked with uncertainty over their enemies, can Ice Pack really be sure that the Rebels are dead?

On the other side of the land, the Rebels have thrived under adversity. Now interbred with feral dogs, when the inital wave of the apocalypse hit, they mutated into large, strong brutes barely recognisable as wolves. With teeth like knives and quick wits, their sights are set on the Sanctuary and on getting there before Ice Pack, their sworn enemies do. Their goal is to see the pack that caused them hell (but also brought them together) burn, and they will go to any lengths to make this happen.

The Rebels may be closer than Ice Pack think, however, as the wolves that are dying at the supposed hands of the younger generation bear the mark of Rebel traitors. Are the wolves of the shadows, blamed on those who are the lowest in the Ice Pack, actually that of the Rebels exacting their revenge?

|| Royals ||

~Alpha Male & Female~
Leaders and Overseers of the Pack. Does not have to be a pair, though to ensure strength and offspring it is best to. Enforcers of rules. Usually from the same bloodline as the previous alpha.

~Beta Male and Female~
Second-in-Command. Has to be a mated pair already or has to choose a mate within a moon of being chosen as beta. Takes over and leads pack if Alpha dies or if Alpha is out of action due to illness or a trip. Does all jobs and helps around the camp, has knowledge of healing. Usually in the bloodline of the alpha.

~Gamma Male and Female~
Third-in-Command. Has to be a pair within two moons of being appointed. Will usually move up to rank of beta when they die, are out of action or move up to alpha. Sometimes a different pair is chosen to be beta, however. Though Royal, they are considered to be very low down on the ‘food chain’ and are often teased. Not a very desirable position, though it teaches patience and shows how capable the pair is.

~Advisor~
Advisor to the Alphas and in their absence the Betas, this one wolf aids them in times of need, sends out messages to the pack and brings messages to the alpha. They cannot become alpha themselves unless extenuating circumstances apply and all other eligible wolves are unable to take the place of alpha. If loyal, can be chosen to become gamma or beta.

|| Mystics ||

~Mage~
A lone wolf, cannot have a mate. Foretells prophecies and reads the ways of nature to find signs. Also called the head healer. Can speak to Starpack and foretell their will to the alpha. Very respected and usually an older female who has served the pack, usually through healing. Is chosen by the other mystics through dreams.

~Healers~
Unlimited amount of wolves. Male or female of any age. All strive to be Mage some day. They heal any injured or sick wolves and are of kind nature. They have been known to raise pups as their own when the mother dies or turns them away. To become a healer one has to be trained by a healer, work their way up from gatherer or be chosen by the Mage.[center]

~Gatherers~
Unlimited amount, male or female. Can work their way up to nurse, then healer, then to Mage, or remain a gatherer forever. They gather herbs and plants for the healers and nurses, and can gather other items for the pack as a whole that they find laying around. They sometimes help with other jobs the pack needs them to.

||Middle Class||

~Hunters~
Unlimited amount, male or female. Fast and skilled wolves hunt for the pack. Aerial, Ground and Water hunters are all trained. One of the Highest honourable ranks in Middle Class.

~Warriors~
Unlimited amount, male or female. Strong and cunning wolves fight for the pack and patrol the territory for intruders. Their den is closest to the entrance in case of a raid. If explorers find something out of the ordinary they are the first to scope it out.

~Explorers~
Unlimited amount, more female than male. Observant and brave wolves patrol the territory and surrounding areas in search of prey herds, unusual happenings and new places. They work with the gatherers to find herb patches around the territory.

|| Lower Class ||

~Elders~
Not very many, male and female. Wolves that have lost vital senses, no longer have the ability to aid the pack in their specialty or have come of an age where they have served their time helping the pack. Highly honoured though they are of lower class. Not very many, all very wise.

~Mothers~
She-wolves from all the classes who are expecting or have had a litter of pups. Highly regarded because they are giving the pack another life with each pup they bear. Well treated and usually quite kind. Once their pups are old enough to be without their constant care they return back to their usual post above or below ground.

~Pups~
Pups of both genders, younger than 6 moons old. Cared for by the mothers and the nurses until they do not require constant care, then moved up to the youngling den.

~Young Ones / Younglings~
Very many, male and female. Pups older than 6 moons old or independent. Trained by the wolves of the pack in the specialty they wish to be in. Cared for by the nurses.

~Yearling~
Male and Female. Wolves of one year of age reside here. They remain here until their training is finished, the time that varies from skill to skill.

~Omega~
Male or Female. A lone wolf. Lowest regarded wolf in the pack, often teased and picked on. Usually they get by on a wicked sense of humour. They have usually been placed in the position for breaking a minor rule or because they are of no use to the pack. Loners who have joined but are not yet trusted are put in such a position.

The last three elders are playable by anyone, however they are to be used as a part of the plot so don't obviously kill them. It'd be preferred if you make an empty formed elder character just so we can show the war between old and new throughout. If you do, however, specify if they can be 'murdered' (of course, you Rp when, and all that, but as a part of the plot older generation's wolves are being murdered by someone supposedly the younger wolves but actually the rebels.)

The sky is turning red. With each day the red covers more of the sky, from dusk until dawn. At night the sky is tinged red. It appears to be coming from the east to west at a rapid pace, and with it casts an uneasy feeling among all those whom have seen it. Some wolves are having dreams about the red sky causing the world as they know it to end, and many are dreaming of fire and mutated animals. Within three or four days the sky will be completely red, it is predicted, and with it the first wave of the apocalypse.

||CHANGES||

With the generation old war between the two mighty packs Ice and Rebels, the adaptable brutes were forced to evolve into one of the mightiest breeds of wolf the planet had ever seen. With the apocalypse hitting the enormous pack the hardest, the only survivors found their pups tiny, thin and deformed. But as they grew, the pups doubled in size untill they stood nearly as tall as their parents. As the matured, their canines were obviously enlarged, and the muscles in their front arms demanded more exercise, and grew to extraordinary sizes. Generations on, the pack's leadership has changed, with the alpha male on top and his sons just below. Females only retain the leader symbol while either carrying the alpha or beta's pups or rearing them, and mainly join the omega in the hunts. While the common ranked males take smaller packs and patroll the territories. Will your wolf be among them?

Personality:
Tsuki is a charming young she-wolf with a lot of charisma. She goes out of her way to make others think highly of her, though this exertion of effort is sometimes the thing that causes wolves to dislike her. She is kind and fair, but her judgement is often clouded by her strong level of sympathy, as she finds it difficult to pick sides and cannot learn from previous mistakes. She will feel sorry for an enemy, and it is this that ultimately killed her in her past life, as while saving a rogue she drowned in an ice lake.

However kind and caring, though, Tsuki is fiercely loyal when she must be, and when she does pick a side, she will attempt to fight the other side with ferocity. In this way she often can put herself in unnecessary danger, and has to rely on others to help her out of a mess.

With a highly optimistic, confident outer facade hiding a darker demeanour, Tsuki hides her inner worries and adopts the personality of a bright, witty and often hyper wolf, and is very often clouded by her strong emotions, though they can be thrown about and changed quite quickly.

History:

Tsuki is an incarnate, and lived a long life many, many generations ago when Destiny was leader. She followed the pack through hardship and loved Mech, and lost her parents and brother at a young age. She was killed saving a rogue from an ice river when she drowned under its dead weight and due to her lack of skill in swimming.

Tsuki was born to another incarnate, of Serafina, a previous pack leader when she lived her first life. Serafina was killed suspiciously moons ago. Her father is as of yet unknown, and her siblings did not make it during the first weeks. Now an adult, she is a warrior, but wishes to become beta.
