Shadowfur looked up at the sky.
"Never a moment I don't think of them..."

I stop, looking around wildly.
"Smudge?" I yowl. "Cloud? Mittens?"
They didn't answer, and I run off, praying they found a safe spot to hide.

"You really remind me of Lavender, Lily and Lilac. They lost their father as kits."
