It could've been a gene from generations ago." She smiled as her kits suckled at her belly, and she licked each affectionately kit atop the head. "I can't believe we're finally parents," she whispered to Ospreyfeather as she watched her kits with awe and adoration gleaming in her bright blue eyes.
Littlekit kneaded Rainstar's belly and suckled hungrily. She mewled in pain when another kit stepped on her back paw, but she continued suckling without a second though.
{{- WB on that one, sorry. And Dapplefawn is open. }
Goldenwhisker sighed and made his way out of the den with a brisk flick of his long, bushy tail. The cream Tom slid out of the port and remained by the entrance as he began to groom his curled ears, keeping an eye on the entrance. He suddenly felt authoritative, cocky and over-protective of Rainstar and her kits, emitting a low warning growl if any cats got too close. He noticed Dovestripe approaching and gave her a weary squint. "State your business," he mewed, his voice flat.
Dovestripe gave her uncle a look of astonishment. "What?" she asked with a shake of her head. Her green eyes searched her uncle's, but the Tom's golden eyes revealed nothing.
"State your business - why are you here?" Goldenwhisker repeated, a little more firmly.
Dovestripe shook her grey fur and just pushed past the grumpy cat, sliding into the den with ease. "Hello, Rainstar" she whispered.
