I yawn awake. hoo-hoohoo-hoo! An owl hoots. I look up at it's soft voice, peeking my head out of my den. The breeze ruffled the leaves in the trees. Rivershade.... Rivershade.... The wind whispered in my ear. The memories of being a warrior. The memories of Rabbitfoot, and Brownfur.... "Leave it behind you, Rivershade." I tell myself quietly. But the word. The name just seems to bring memories. Rivershade... I think. No. It's not right. I might only be out here for a moon, but still. I'm changing it. From now on, I'm to be know as River. I don't want a warrior namee!

Rabbitfur suddenly let out a huge yowl and starting making a lot of noise.

After Rabbitfur started to yowl it wasn't long before Ashpaw saw the first squirrel. She got into a crouch and when it ran in front of the bush that she was hiding near she pounced on it bit it's neck killing it quickly.
