Lionpaw padded out of camp and looked up in the trees and saw Ashpaws " hows it going"he shouted

Ashpaw was startled at first but then looked down at glimpse."ok I guess." Ashpaw meowed back still thinking of Marrowclaw. She looked down at lionpaw and motioned with her tail asking him to come and join her.

Lionpaw climbed the tree and sat next to Ashpaw "whas wrong" he asked

"Oh it's nothing. It's just I really miss Marrowclaw I don't now we're he is and he's like my best friend!" Ashpaw meowed sadly looking at the forest floor below her and then at lionpaws eyes.

"dont worry, best friends come and go i know how it feels"Lionpaw said looking back at ashpaw

Ashpaw smiled at lionpaw and licked his ear."thanks for making me feel better." She meowed quietly and then looked at her paws blushing a little.

Jet sighed and looked at where Rainstar sat. "Rainstar, could I ask you a question please?" She flicked an ear and gently nosed a kit back into the nest.

Ashpaw watched him as he went. She felt sad that he had left. She jumped out of the tree and shock out her fur.
