Sunpaw giggled. "Mwee thoo!" he meowed, walking back to camp. He and Rabbitpaw padded through the fern tunnel side by side, and Sunpaw headed for the fresh-kill pile where he set his small trout down.

Brightleaf smiled warmly, her green eyes soft. "I love you too, Vineclaw," she purred, nuzzling him softly. Vineclaw made her so happy, she didn't know what she would ever do without him.
Bramblepath sobbed softly as he dragged Lynxshadow's body outside of camp to be buried. He took her to the first place they had ever gone hunting together, near the river. By the end, his neck was sore, but he had insisted nobody help him. It was the last thing he could do do Lynxshadow to show that he loved her. He buried her under a majestic willow tree, out of place in the maple forest, and intended to keep a silent vigil here for the rest of the night. He laid down beside the overturned earth, and quietly weeped to himself.
