Skypaw took the herbs that had gone bad and padded out of the den, dropping them behind the medicine cat den. She padded back inside and sat down with a sigh in her nest, feeling sleepy. She curled up in it and closed her eyes, falling into a deep slumber. She blinked looking around, surprised that she could actually see. "I can usually never see in dreams…," she breathed. She was in a starry, moonlit forest, of what she guessed was somewhere in Starclan. She spotted a beautiful white she-cat with rose red eyes and a reddish brown tailtip padding up to her. Whiterose! Skypaw bounded up to her, burying her muzzle in her mother's soft fur. "I haven't seen you in moons," she mewed, looking up. Whiterose smiled, but her eyes were clouded over as if she was worried about something. "What's wrong," she asked, seeing her mother's expression. Whiterose didn't reply. She turned her head solemnly and padded away, flicking her tail for Skypaw to follow. Skypaw followed, bounding after her. Her mother stopped and sat down looking at a large puddle of water. Skypaw looked down, studying her reflection, since she had never been able to see what she looked like. She looked back up at Whiterose. "It's just water though," she mewed. "Look again," her mother replied. Skypaw looked back down seeing mist cloud around the puddle. Finally the mist cleared just enough for her to see what was happening. Skypaw stared at the water curiously as she saw the forest. It was their and Shamrockclan's territory. It was the whole entire forest. She saw big giant yellow monsters tearing through the territories, uprooting trees and wrecking everything in its path. She saw cat darting around everywhere, screaming from fear. She gasped and closed her eyes, seeing the monster tear through the camps, bringing down all the dens and trees, and along with it, were cats, screaming for help. She looked up at Whiterose sadly, fear in her eyes. A tear streamed down her face and fell into the water puddle, obstructing her view as ripples passed through it. Whiterose looked down and closed her eyes solemnly. Suddenly, Skypaw was plunged into darkness. She awoke with a start, nearly leaping out of her fur. She scrambled to her paws and raced off to Blazestar's den.
