Bluetail blushed as Darkpelt came over and gave her one of the smiles she had rarely seen on him. With an ironic sigh, she realised that the kind smile just made him all the more handsome, which strummed over her nerves.

Just when I thought that I was safe from him, I find this out. Oh joy...

"No no...It's ok," Bluetail said quietly, "it's just...Cottonwish sounds like she doesn't like me anymore..."

She looked to her torn side, and her broken rib twinged with, to Bluetail's relief, less pain she had previously become almost crippled with.

"I think the poppy seeds are helping...My side isn't hurting as much as it did," she meowed quietly.

She looked to Darkpelt and managed a wry smile.

Thank you...For helping with the badger, if it wasn't for you and Pebblefrost, Rainclaw and I would've been eaten. At least we have Rainclaw's body to bury in honour of his memory,"

She pressed her nose to his shoulder and rubbed her cheek against him in as much of an embrace as her injuries could allow her.

"I really hope I don't scar..." she murmured, motioning to her torn side with a flick of her tail, "a part of me hoped I could reach my 30 moons without a major injury scarring,"

I mean...Hawk had Dawnstar pinned and he was clawing at her and she just avoided him and got up...and when Hawk was kicking at Grayn, he wasn't even hurt...I mean, it's okay. But just for future reference, most people don't like it when others do that.}

Hawk winced as Grayn clawed at him. He shook the blood out of his new wound and faced the two, growling. Suddenly, the other four cats were approaching him, all looking angry and ready to attack. Before Hawk could contemplate what was happening, he was surrounded on all sides. He spat and fluffed his fur out to make him look twice his size, but under his fierce appearance he was a bit worried. He'd never heard of a cat that has successfully won a battle against six others.

The four warriors glared at hawk
"No one shall harm out mother!"
Pinefeather and cloudpelt said

Stormpath looked at Dawnstar
Or my fathers sister
He didn't want to spit it out that everyone in the battle right now was related to each other.

Dawnstar chuckled
"I know that trick! It ain't gonna fool me!"
she puffed out her fur as well.

"She doesn't deserve to be hurt. She deserves to die." Hawk spat, keeping his fur fluffed out. He wasn't sure what he'd do if they all sprung, though...they'd have such a huge advantage, he wouldn't have the slightest chance. He just hoped they'd let him go.

{{Cottonwish and Darkpelt are good friends and the white she-cat was helping Darkpelt come to terms with his feelings. Rainclaw has died saving Bluetail from a badger attack, while she had a torn side and broken ribs and Darkpelt rushed to help, but his hind leg was injured in the process. Rainclaw is being buried by Swiftsong and Pebblefrost (Rainclaw's brother - a large golden tabby). Bluetail and Darkpelt are recovering in the medicine den from their injuries. I can't think what else has happened in the last 27 pages that's major}}
