The she-cat purred with amusement. "Just learned how to walk yesterday? Open your eyes, mousebrain. I don't want to be hunting alone out here." Thrushcloud teased, a bit less harshly than before. You could see the playfulness in her eyes as she met his gaze. She figured out right away that something was troubling him. Why else would his senses be so out of tune? She cocked her head. "Is something wrong? Did everything with you and Leopardfur go alright? Sorry if I sound nosy, I just want to make sure you're alright." She added the last bit hastily.

Rainstorm shook his head, but he must have hit the tree hard, because everything still rung in his ears and the world around him spun. He finally managed to clear his head, "Our talk? Yeah, it went fine. She just said something that distracted me a bit, that's all. Sorry 'bout running into the tree. I need to get my eyesight checked." What he needed was to get his mind checked. Stop thinking about what she said! He shook his head again, managing to somewhat clear all thoughts of Leopardfur. He was determined to hunt for his clan now, and stepped behind Thrushcloud again, "Alright, lead the way."

Rosepaw had a devious grin etched on her face as she listened to Swiftbreeze. She nodded, stepping back slightly as she could see what she was doing. She lunged at her mentor's face, slicing her unsheathed claw down the cat's face.

Thrushcloud shrugged off the strange events, trying to concentrate on the hunt. She stalked through the undergrowth, trying to scent the prey she had just smelled a few minutes ago. Unfortunately, the smell was far too stale now, and the prey was long gone. She growled with irritation, giving up. "I can't catch any scent. Let's just get back to camp."
