The she-cat lifted her head momentarily to the sound of Rainstorm's voice calling out her name. She was a little way downhill from him, so he probably couldn't catch her scent as easily. With a sigh she abandoned the smell of squirrel she had picked up to return to her hunting partner. "Yeah, I'm over here." She sighed dramatically, as if Rainstorm was a burden to her. "You and Leopardfur finished with you little chat? I just picked up the scent of some prey downhill, we'd better get a move on if we plan on getting it." She meowed, tail twitching with annoyance. She was a very stubborn warrior and took a while to warm up to. She really wasn't frustrated with him, she was just very hot-headed.

Rainstorm trailed after Thrushcloud, not at all thinking about hunting. He thought about Leopardfur, and the words she'd said to him before she went back to camp. I love you. What does that mean? The tom pondered this for a long while, mindlessly following Thrushcloud. She barely knew him. How could she 'love' him? He was so wrapped up in his thinking, he was absolutely oblivious to his surroundings. In a split second, he found himself staggering back in surprise. In front of him stood a tree, and the pain in his nose proved he just ran into it. "Ow." He muttered, praying Thrushcloud hadn't noticed. What an embarrassment.

The she-cat purred with amusement. "Just learned how to walk yesterday? Open your eyes, mousebrain. I don't want to be hunting alone out here." Thrushcloud teased, a bit less harshly than before. You could see the playfulness in her eyes as she met his gaze. She figured out right away that something was troubling him. Why else would his senses be so out of tune? She cocked her head. "Is something wrong? Did everything with you and Leopardfur go alright? Sorry if I sound nosy, I just want to make sure you're alright." She added the last bit hastily.
