Shimmerpaw's stomach growled. "I'll just wait for the patrol to get back, then I can have some fresh kill." She mummered to herself, then glanced at Nightpaw. "I will, later. When he wakes up."

Wolfpaw walked into the den, and set her kills down. "Is is ok if I take one of these to Shimmerpaw?" She asked Echospirit.

"Go ahead." she mewed.

Wolfpaw took the fattest mouse in her jaws and dashed over to the medicine cat's den. She walked inside and dropped the mouse at Shimmerpaw's feet. "Here you are!" She said after she dropped the prey.

"Thank you!" Shimmerpaw mewed, delighted. "This is enormous! Don't tell me you caught this?" She teased gently, a smile in her eyes.

Echospirit
She wanted to be able to echo quieter things, perhaps the wind even! So, when a warm breeze drifted towards her, she tried to echo it. It ended up sounding choppy, but it was still pretty good for a first try. She tried again and again, until she could echo the wind. It sounded soft, and comforting.

"Very funny!" She swatted Shimmerpaw's ear gently. "And I did!" She said in a playfully snooty voice.

"Wow! This is great! I'm sure you'll be a warrior in no time, with skills like yours!" She purred. She bent down and started to eat.
