Wolfheart looked up at Lightning. " A word of warning- the thorns in this forest are poison- if one pricks you..." She paused. "I highly suggest you land. Then i will tell you about the lights."

Dusk pads forward, carefull where she steps.

I huffed," fine." Then landed in the back. "So?"

[Tom Bombadil]

Wolfheart spoke in a hushed tone. "Long ago," she whispered, "Before the horse-lords decided harmony was best, there were near constant wars between all the races and species. It is said that this forest is where many battles took place. The spirits of those who fell still haunt the living. They lure unwary travelers off the trail and make them lose their way. Some say this is because the spirits want revenge on the living of all species. If you follow the lights, you will never be seen again."

She turned quiet and walked on.

(OOC: I kinda stole the bit about the lights from myths about Will o' the Wisp and Lord of the Rings... This stuff does not exist in Equestria.)

Soul nods slightly, having heard something similar in her travels.

Silver listened, looking at the lights in curiosity but doesnt leave the path.

"I will be glad when we get out of this haunted forest," hissed Wolfheart, half to herself, "For although i am a child of the forest, evil spirits make me nervous. Living creatures, I can kick or bite. But how does one battle a ghost?"

She kept walking, more alert than normal.

"Agreed..." Mutters Soul as she heard what Wolfheart muttered.

(Can i have a group of ghosts suddenly appear?)

Wolfheart tensed. She felt danger would hit her any second.

Soul stops as well, "hm..."

Silver turns back at Soul, "whats up?"

Suddenly, a dozen armored phantoms appeared, all cloaked in shadow so it was hard to find out what creature they were. Their fangs, claws, hooves, and horns were the hard silver of metal, and they were definitely hostile.

Wolfheart reared up on her hind legs with a frightened whinny, wondering if she should run. But her resolve told her to stay bty her friends, no matter the danger.
